Mary Hofstetter was one of the original Adlanders who took a stand against scammers and spammers on Adlandpro. She tried to promote genuine products and services on the ponzi forum but of course she vanishes into thin air.

I did not get to know her very well back then but got friendly after she came back. She was soon shocked at how much things had changed. I remember she tried welcoming new members and that backfired. She eventually took up with Jimbo and last I heard from her, there were problems brewing.

have three statuses.

1. RealScam approved (Green)
2. RealScam disapproved (Red)
3. RealScam unrated (gray)

This could be automated based on the url within the ad.

How this would be implemented?
Programs reviewed by RealScam members would have
status associated with web addresses.

This list would be included in our database and even interface
could be provided for RealScam members to enter new reviews
or amend the existing ones.

Also we could provide ability for RealScam members to
mark ads on our site with specific status in case they
didn't match url and were associated with certain business
which had Green or Red flag, but was not recognized
by our system because redirection url was used or
custom website.

Ads which are found in the business opportunity would
have such sings.


We would not police advertisers or ads, but visitors would be
notified on the ad level how the ad is rated by your members.

If your members were inclined to review some ads periodically,
e.g. those which had gray sign, they could mark them on the
individual bases.

One other concept could be to have a button on the ad level
which notifies your site to provide review for unrated ads
for visitors who would like e.g. this program be reviewed for
a fee by your members.

There is probably more details but this is just the high level idea.

Let me know if this is of interests to you and we will go from
there.

I trust this will be much better use of energy and the purpose
of your business will be more effective this way than
individually targeting specific promoters.

It will also add additional value to our site.

In addition you will establish yourself as an authority in the area
of scam verification on our site.

My answer is hell no!!! Though it is very flattering that our opinions are so important and held in such high regard by Bogdan, I would never engage in the type of activity he is suggesting. There are many degreed, professional and very savvy posters here. But, this is simply an open discussion forum. We are not and never should be a scam verification program. That might well expose us to liability that simply expressing our opinions as we do now does not.

Bogdan, you need to take down that hideous class action threat page and move on. I don't believe we have anything further to discuss.

Whoa up, here! Time out!!! Doesn't he realize that you have to be licensed to give investment advice just like you have to be licensed to give legal advice? with all the legal huffing and puffing he has been doing lately you would think he might have noticed that. As SBM says you can offer an "opinion" as to the legitimacy of a "program", "business" etc. but when you cross the line into recommending or endorsing, liabilities accrue. No thanks!
