Great to have you here with us - and I greatly appreciate your perspective and experience with the issue...
While I categorize trolling as an irrational, purposeless act, I intend to find purposeful and rational remedies against the damage which trolls can inflict...

Comment by Tim Darnell on May 3, 2011 at 10:10am Having a Troll enter your life can produce amazingly damaging results, including loss of one's Clients, revenue streams, and even one's entire business. It is an issue not unlike identity theft, in that it can swiftly enter your life out of nowhere, without provocation and/or any tangible justification. You don't even have to have any past relationship with the Troll at all.

One of the solutions (and we have been searching for effective answers for years) is that we control our space (our top Goggle search pages for "my name") as much as possible in order to keep a Troll's smear tactics from inflicting significant damage.

Most Troll's act alone, and a unified effort against them is another solid response tactic. This Group can truly be a force for good - avoidance and repair of the problem. Greatly appreciate the invite!

Vincent has aligned himself as a force for evil. If he had bothered to Google Tim Darnell and Jack Weinzierl he certainly wouldn't be singing Tim Darnell's praises and filing false police reports against me. Tim's problem is that he is in a desperate and maniacal pursuit of those that are sharing the truth and facts about him in order to protect the public and determined to silence us at any cost.

Ya gotta admit though...he does have a valid point... the truth can inflict a lot of damage on those that try to avoid it...!

IM(very)HO, it's not so much the truth which is inflicting damage as much as any damage is self inflicted.

Such damage fits neatly in the category of "that's what happens" to people who constantly cherry pick their version of morality and acceptable behaviour from the Bible and the positive thinkers school of thought, without embracing the whole concept/s being presented, accepting responsibility and "making things right" before moving on.

There's a lot to be said for steps 8 and 9 of the 12 Step Programs:

8 Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all
9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.

How has chasing Tim Darnell around like a slobbering mutt worked out for you, Vincent Wright? Why don't you just ban that lying con artist, remove his posts and open your sites like www.mylinkingpowerforum.com back up so folks can read and perhaps your traffic will recover a little. Your relationship with Darnell isn't worth throwing away years of hard work, is it, lad? What has Darnell done for you, Vincent?

I suppose you are aware that in addition to his $97,265.17 IRS tax lien, Darnell is being sued for delinquent property tax again and has now gotten himself signed up with Nationstar Mortgage. Nationstar Mortgage has a dreadful reputation and I suspect they may beat everyone else to foreclosing on that fool. Are you going to invite Darnell to share your luxurious accommodations at the Motel 6, Vincent???

Tell 'im he's dreaming.

Poor little Vincent Wright has now opened his forum back up to the public. His heroic efforts to support scammer Tim Darnell ended with Tim Darnell and all his posts being removed from the forum. Allowing known scammers to invade one's business forum and letting them talk one into making bogus police reports is business suicide. I e-mailed Mr. Wright and tried to help him by seeing he had the facts. Now, his forum is pretty much dead as a door nail with Vincent posting like crazy in what I suspect is a desperate attempt to resuscitate the place as he has lost all his traffic. Tim Darnell is a one man wave of complete destruction and horrific losses to anything he touches. The reverse Midas touch in action:
