National Health Enrollment Center is a complete scam

For those of you living in the US, don't ever, EVER, enter your phone number in what "looks like" a government health care site. Me, being self employed, missed the cut-off for health insurance, so I casually went online to what "looked like" a California insurance site. I entered my phone number. That was in mid February. I have been averaging 20 calls a day, from different numbers all throughout US, from the "National Health Enrollment Center," starting at 5 AM my time. That's right, 5 in the morning. Apparently they don't grasp that there's a time change within the US even! Gasp! I've repeatedly asked them to take me off their list, to no avail.

Upon further investigation, this slimy company's parent company is an even slimier company called Premier, out of Florida, I think. They are a pure scam, in the WORST sense, from what I'm reading. Getting people's credit card and bank info and charging them for what the consumer THINKS is insurance, but is nothing of the kind!

I keep telling them I'm not interested and am reporting them to the Department of Insurance, and they laugh and hang up on me. Incredibly rude! (but I've noticed the calls have dwindled the last day and a half since I told them that)

Just wanted to post this as a warning.....stay away.
I tell you emphatically that this is the END of those evil doers, we must Apprehend and prosecute them accordingly.

Thanks Ribshaw. They are still calling, and they must have sold my info, because now I'm getting calls from someone with a heavy Asian/Indian accent leaving messages like...."If you don't return the call and I don't hear from your attorney either, the only thing I can do is wish you good luck, as the situation unfolds on you." I got two messages like that before 7 am.

The idiot called me back about 30 minutes ago, I told him I've already contacted FBI and Attorney General's Office and they are aware of his number and his scam; he proceeded to call me the "C" word and then started yelling in another language..lol. The number is 646-918-5702. It's listed as New York number but I'm pretty sure they're in India or Pakistan. Do people actually fall for this nonsense?

And the "C" word was said in heavy Indian accent....(Just think about that for a moment)....so I couldn't help but start laughing, and that's when I got screaming in Indian (I'm assuming)

Re: National Health Enrollment Center is a complete scam

I was stupid enough to submit all my personal info and when I became hesitant after they asked for my banking info the lady (named Charity) became hostile. I then said I needed time to consider quotes from other Insurers and she became even more hostile calling me uneducated and ignorant and threatened that all other insurance applications would now be denied as a result of her denying me further access in the data bank! I have informed my bank and the credit consumer agencies (Equifax, Experian etc) and probably need to contact the social security agency and file a police report as well as make further reports...painful. My day just got shorter...
