Thread: viewing realscam.com via cell phone.

Hi everyone.

I'm really curious why I can't browse this site on my phone. Any ideas? It opens but as soon as I click a thread the page is blank :( This is with wifi on my phone.

The VBulletin software under which REALSCAM.com runs is not currently optimized for use with small screen devices.

An addon suite is required to allow viewing and posting from Smartphones and tablets

We are looking into what options are available to give small screen users the best experience

I can view it on my android phone. Though I guess I was able to select 'mobile style' down below. Don't remember. lol

my fault, Katra, I was presuming you had selected from the dropdown box in the bottom left of your screen and it didn't work for you

No I don't think I selected it. But I see it there that it's selected. I wonder if I changed it to something else other than RS online on my PC if it would remember it on my phone when I log in. I'm so sad. :D I have a Windows HTC 8.1 I don't know if that helps. I don't recall an option when I view it on my phone to make a selection. I'm smart phone Newb By the way.

I have no problem reading RS.com from my iPhone.
I only wish the "what's new" button was available when I'm logged off.

how would we know what's new if we don't know it's you ??

Good point! But I thought "what's new" showed the most recent posts on the forum, which would be the same for everyone.

Maybe my phone just Lol. I am prety sure I was able to view it before my phone upgraded to 8.1 from 8.0.

Not the dreaded upgrade-makes-things-worse-than-before syndrome

You'll probably find the VBulletin software will have to upgrade to allow for your upgrade
