I Find All Of This Curious

This was posted by George this morning on Scam:

"He seemed like a nice guy on the phone, he did alot of work. I didn't realize the drama he carried with him. I personally have nothing against him. At the time we were getting THOUSANDS of auto spam bots posting each day and I was close to shutting down the site from all the porn and pill links. He stepped up and helped out alot. I didn't closely monitor his actions. I will take the blame for that. Soapboxmom just got a little too ambitious with her sig file.....which I would not have minded if she stopped bringing up false misinformation about me and the site."

Len did a lot of work? What "work" exactly was that?

At the time we were getting thousands of Spam bots/porno and pill links. Well since you have so many porn sites and are a porn mogul why is that a problem? And since you advertise Scam on porn sites why is this a surprise? And since you are also an ad whore, again this is a surprise? And since SBM was banned, Tom quit, and two other Mods had left in protest and Lady Mod has never lifted a finger on that site, not getting the site cleaned up is a big surprise? You are joking right?

Then he takes the opportunity to slam SBM, yet again. He has never appreciated her or thanked her for what she did on that site and he was such a *******, that he never even returned her calls and emails after she was banned, by Lady Mod, who many are congradulating and pumping up today on scam.

I have been watching all of this drama play out and I stopped posting here. When I protested LM being here, I got reprimanded for that. Yet, I see that many others have done the same exact thing and railed against George and Scam and Len unabated. Apparently, I was supposed to do this in this forum which I had never posted in, had no idea that was what it was for and I simply responded where she has posted. Also there are bash Scam and thread in the General Comments forum where I posted my response to the Bitch, and a new one started on Len now. How confused was and is this for me then? I guess my crystal ball was broken that day and still is. I stopped posting on Scam when Tom left. Then came the banning of SBM and deletion of threads and Len being an Admin. Yet most continued to post there.

Now I have a question for everyone and perhaps you can all explain something to me.

The Scam site has had issues for a very long time. This is just the latest in them, with Len. This scenario is very much like the Mumbles meltdown two years ago. Very Similar.

The owner is a porn king and a liar and takes no interest in the site and only does so when he is threatened apparently. He was Naked News spamming his own site. He hadded the Ashley dating site for married men to meet women for affairs, he added the video ads.

Lady Mod has a long history of not doing any real work on the site, bullying posters, threatening and banning posters and being an obnoxious bitch, lying, treating the Mods like crap and more. We've all had our say on the Quatloos site about that, including the former Mods.

I thought that this site would be different. But instead, what I see is that most of the people are still posting on Scam and here. And I am not talking about people who post in the Political section which is not most of you. I am talking about the MLM section. All the drama of Scam including even the appearance of Lady Bitch was brought to this new site. I thought that some people came here to escape Lady Bitch (I know that I did), yet here she is.

This place turned into the Scam bitch fest.

Is this why people are here? Is this what this site is supposed to be? And why is a LM here? She has baited the Mods and the posters here and been the same condescending bitch that she was on Scam. I am confused and bothered by all of these events, and perhaps I am the only one who is.

I made a couple of postive posts about this new site and suggested for us to promote the site on the net, yet, that was ignored. People were too interested in continuing the Scam drama over here. Then when the Bitch was allowed here, I made a post against here and was warned. I am simply not comforatble with her here. She represents everything that is wrong with Scam and she is hovering here over the posters like she did there. I am curious as to why this was alloeed in the first place. If I wanted to see her be a Bitch to the Mods, this site and the posters, I could have simply gone back to scam for that behavior.

So why are people still so interested in being a part of Scam considering nothing has changed with the owner, there is only one decent Mod left there - Katie - and the Bitch rules supreme there? What the hell am I missing? I see everyone kissing George's ass today and complimenting him and the Bitch and I am just shaking my head. I simply don't get it. I don't get it at all. It's like everyone has forgotten who these people really are and what they have done and will continue to do. What are people thinking? Have they forgotten all of Lady Bitch's actions and posts on Scam? Have they forgotten what George has done all these years and who he is?

If more time had been spent in posting on this site that had nothing to do with Scam and in promoting the site wouldn't that have been better? Everyone claimed that they wanted a place better than Scam and yet all the effort on here is directed towards trying to fix Scam, which will never really be fixed. I have seen this cycle many times over the years. Things will improve only temporarily and then a new aill take place. And all the decent Mods, except one, are gone. Again, what am I missing? Why all the continued interest in a site which has **** on everyone and done it for years? Why the interest in a site with the likes of Kerry and Doyle and others on it, whose behavior runs amok? There is no one there to stop them now and there won't be. Again I have seen this cycle many times.

What is the big attraction and hold that Scam seems to have? I don't want to hear about the Political forum and how great freedom of speech is because that's crap. Freedom of speech there is 90% homophobia, hatred, bigotry, racism, anti-semitism and vile, sick rants. If that appeals to someone, wow. There has rarely been a decent conversation there in all truth.

It's like everyone has forgotten what has gone on over at Scam for years. And if people didn't realize what went on behind the scenes with George and Lady Bitch, they certainly know now. Yet today, it's all hugs and kisses and people are posting like crazy there. If you think anything has really changed, good luck with that. So I am just interested in having someone explain this to me, because I don't get it. I really don't.

I'm only a very junior member here, but here is my take on this.

1) Realscam.com is a new site. Many of the scambusters from scamdot.com and other sites have found realscam.com, but it has only been around for a tiny bit more than a week. There are still a lot of scambusters who havent joined because, either they dont know about it, or they are waiting to see how it goes.

2) There are, in fact, several good scam busters who are still posting on scam, because that is where the scammed and those who wish to know about scams are still visiting, for the moment, and they care more about that than leaving.

3) Irrespective of its future, scamdot.com is still one of the most likely places for people to end up after a google search for "is xxxxx business a scam" and will continue to be until this site's SEO succeeds in driving it to the top of the search engine pages. For that we need CONTENT and there is a lot of time consuming work to be done by all members to get the threads going. It might be old hat for us us, but it ain't for a lot of people and a lot of background will have to be rehashed when posting. It will happen, but it hasnt happened yet as it's only been a week.

4) Q: What do you get when you participate in a forum? A: A signature link. Most of the people from here posting "over there" have the realscam.com link in their signature. Posting on any popular forum, gets the word out. It takes a while, but the link is there where it can be seen. It will help traffic.

And yes I agree with you that the problems at scamdot go back a long time before Len Clements became a mod or admin and will not, IMHO, change. Some of the threads did a great job and are still there as a reference. Others bit the dust without any help from Lennie or their LM. Maybe everyone needed to let off steam, but now it is time to let that one go and concentrate on the job at hand here - building up realscam.com to be the best anti scam forum on the net.

And if sojustask posts here about scams, what's the problem? She's not a realscam.com Mod and has no special powers. She's found that out already and has to post an apology here for her previous and somewhat reckless posts about food supplements There is only a problem if the forum continues to fills up with personality issues from over there and I am sure our own Admins and Mods are more than capable of keeping that under control.

A Life Aloft has more than just a few valid points. I am sure this site will morph into what it was intented, to expose scams. It's in it's initial stages now.

A Life Aloft, please note that your complaints and concerns are valid and I'm sure they're being discussed with the mods and ADMINS. Your contributions are important and they do listen here, so much unlike over there.

On the flip side, how is this site any better than scam.com when it was moderated by the likes of Len and in your opinion Lady Mod if they ban people simply because you don't like them? Stephanie had EVERY right to come here and start posting when a topic was started about her simply just to bash her. Not allowing her to come here and post while allowing members to continuously bash her is, in my honest opinion, no better than what Len did over at scam.com by replying to a locked thread.

I got the impression that everyone saw through the BS, but don't worry anyway, this place ain't no henhouse and she ain't got no fox status here. Your frustration is understandable, but, whatever she says, this site has a BS-O-Meter and it will ring loud and clear when necessary. People trying to bs others will show themselves up for what they are.

I think all these scamdot.com related threads are rather like a bad hangover. People talk about it for a few days until it just becomes a bad memory.

Dear ALA, I am so glad to have you contributing here. I am painfully aware of all the disasters at the cesspool. I just got my butt banned and my signature removed just this morning by George D. who clearly resents our wonderful progress with this new site. I have responded about that on other threads today.

sojustask will not get the horrific treatment I got as we are running our site honestly and as fairly as possible. She has lied to me and about me numerous times. The rules which I wrote and the owner approved do give the admins and Mods here discretion. So, if her presence should become a detriment I will ban her immediately and then abide completely by any decisions the owner should make in that regard. There will never be any public disagreements between any of the folks running this site and everyone will be treated with respect and courtesy.

Thank you hun. You know that you, Tom, Katie, HC, BM have always had my true support, repsect and admiration. I mean that sincerely and honestly. We have all shared, put up with, been plagued with and fought in our own ways, the same common enimies as well and for many of the same reasons. Everyone has their battle scars and you by far, received the worst of the ill treatment. No one deserved any of that either, especially you. I will never forget what has happened to everyone because of George and the Bitch, either. Never. You have nothing, if you don't have honor and integrity and cannot stand by your word and take a stand. At least for me, that is how I feel.

I am hopeful then, that her reign of b.s. will not be allowed or tolerated here any longer. That was all I needed to see and be reassured about. Enough is enough of her. I know I have had my fill, long ago. Thank you, dear.
