There was a case in UK when a woman was walking her dog in Richmond Park and suffered a blow to the the head. There were no witnesses but there was a dead duck very near, so the ambulence drivers picked it up.

There was a post mortem on the dead duck and the cause of the duck's death was recorded as accidental, as there was evidence that it had suffered a heart attack when it was leading a V formation. It dropped from a great height onto the woman's head. Anybody who wants to do anyy serious research on the matter of bird heart attacks could contact the archive department at Quuen Mary's Teaching hospital in Roehampton London SW15.
