Best definition

There's an annual contest at the Griffiths University, Australia, calling for the most appropriate definition of a contemporary term.

This year's term was 'political correctness'.

The winning student wrote:

'Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rapidly promoted by mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a piece of s*** by the clean end.'

That is hilarious

Heheheh - It has its uses, though....or at least HAD its uses in pushing some things out of main language and at least giving the world a kinder facade to hide behind.

Personally, I'd rather be called by my name than "Ol' Whitey" or "Cracker-jacks" or whatever the hell other disparagements may come up in the course of a word fight.
