Russian Investigative Committee findings on Ponzis

Investigative Committee concluded that there are about 20 thousand ponzi schemes operating in Russia.

And also explains why current laws are not efficient enough to fight them, because criminal charge of fraud might not be applied
to cash-gifting schemes and pyramids which do not hide the fact that they operate on ponzi rules.

But the new amendments to section 172 of criminal code (illegal banking activity) are in works.

Yeah, the MMM Pyramid is still around. If they TELL YOU outright it's a pyramid scheme, then it's not fraud. :)

And when I was searching, I found to my dismal that there's MMM Global (same logo and everything)
