    Great bravery and well worth the praise.
    I understand and agree with the protocols that may have been used to sanction the action though, as you can end up losing two trained team members ( you also lose a medic) that you were relying on and it is concievable and common that there may be other lives at stake that are lost due to this possible decrease in capacity....but fully understand and applaud the humanity of the firefighters action. Very generous to donate the money as well.....wonder Why in this case and wonder if these wonderful and brave professionals do this regularly? It would not surprise me. My father was a proffesional fireman his whole working life.

    What a lovely story SBM. The male instinct to look after women is very strong and the picture of her hugging a complete stranger is very touching indeed.
