Amanda, You're so right when you say we're adults and should know how to disagree to disagree in a civilized manner. We've been friends for years and in the past we've disagreed and remain friends. I have no doubt we'll disagree again since our beliefs on certain issues are very different and I'm confident it won't affect our friendship.

If he swore that on a stack of Bibles, I would not believe him Amanda. Time will tell.

It might be strange that I'm posting in this thread since I myself have asked to close it some time ago. Guess what, my prospective change somewhat since then, yet I'm still believing that this thread should be left to die.

Hello Peter and fellow adlanders, I sincerely hope everyone is having a great day. I just wanted to add a quick note before Peter locks this thread again.
I have enjoyed the kinder, more gentle atmosphere we have been experiencing for the last several weeks but I have also noticed something else that is troubling. If we are going to have a warm and friendly community, that when new people come here they will want to stay and be a part of it, then we are going to have to accept the fact that our friends are going to be friendly with people we may not necessarily approve of or want to interact with. We have people here from all walks of life and there are going to be those we may not like or that may rub us the wrong way and vice versa. Those of us that want to make this a great community are going to have walk the talk. There are those here that I have disagreed with but that does not mean I can not be cordial to them and I will if they let me but I don't want anyone telling me who I can or can not be friends with. If any of you are guilty of that, I hope you rethink your position and let everyone make up their own mind who they choose to be friends with and interact with, since everyone here is an adult and should be able to make up their own mind.

I'd also like to post while this thread is still open, I'm writing an article about my early experiences with Adlandpro Classifieds for the several years before this Community was created. There are many ways that the advertising area has always been of higher quality than other ad sources, and now many other places are just trying to catch up in one of those ways, but they are all a decade behind and they think they have a new big idea that's always been here since 1998. (This isn't the article, LOL it's almost turning into it!)

I also agree with Mary Evelyn, I've never seen the point in adults saying, "if you're friends with so&so then I won't be your friend"...that's a very 3rd grade behavior. If you don't like whoever else, don't lose your current friend because they have another friend who you don't want to be buddies with. geez. People have things in common with other people, some are really fun to talk to about goofy junk, some make more logical sense to us than others, some people have an exuberant addiction to advertising, whatever we find in other people that we like, is nobody else's business.

The same can be said about advertisers, I just said that...they are people, too :) If advertisers have focus and stay in the ad forums and are not bothering anyone, then they should not be bothered either. There's room in this community for everyone to do their own thing and if they are doing it where they're allowed to, then it's nobody's place to complain.

If I finish my article about the historically "different and better" since before the turn-of-the-century Adlandpro Classifieds within the next few hours, I'll post it here.

I certainly agree that no one has the right to tell others who to b friends with in the community and that's true offline as well. We know that in the past this was happening and as a result misunderstandings happened more often then not. This was mostly behind the scenes activity cos it would look bad to write about it in public. Those that allowed themselves to be influenced by others basically lost the opportunity to meet some interesting people and interact with them.

When I read your post in a way it reminded me that when a couple gets married each has friends from their past and there is an attempt to meld them into a friendship with their spouses. Sometimes it works out well and sometimes it doesn't. I know I remained friends with people that my wife didn't click with and the opposite was true too. I never thought for a moment thought to tell her to drop them as friends and my wife felt the same way about it. In some cases the friendships lasted a lifetime and in some they dwindled into people we contact from time to time. There were a few instances when first impressions changed over the years and the friendship became a common one for both of us.

Kathleen, very interesting history lesson about Adland. During the period I was marketing online I used the classified ads and did get good hits on the ads.

I must say that I had planned a different post before locking this forum up again. I had prepared a post about delusions and decided after reading both your posts to maintain the positivity and leave the delusion post for another day.

Hello Peter, Evelyn and Kathleen,

I must agree with all three of you. The motto should be "Live and Let Live". I thank God for creating each of us different because life would be pretty boring, but also giving us the intelligence to know how to relate to one an other without causing ill feelings (at least to some of us). I no longer do any marketing but cudos to the one that does and I wish them all the success in the world.
I do remember the good times we had on Alp at one time, the games we played with Monica were so awesome, to me it was the best therapy I could of had, but here again some people could not stand the happiness around and had to destroy it. I'm so glad that Admin finally saw the light and realize who the perpetrators really were.
I truly value everyone's friendship, may God bless and keep you all in his Grace.

I just checked my Facebook messages from a few weeks or a month ago, and I'd also like to leave this thread on a positive note, and we'll just agree that some people are delusional. Suffice it to say that FB message started last month with a person, another co-admin of AIF actually forgetting had removed themself from my FB friendship list last year and accused me of removing recently...LOL...(I don't lift a finger to make the clicks to remove) and then the message I just read, that I had left unread for weeks, accused me of continuing harassment on FB just for replying even tho I hadn't started that message, as if I'm supposed to sit here and put up with unsolicited messages telling me not to dare reply or be reported to FB AND Alp admin...sheesh!...and person was going to contact admin of HERE (alp) about the fact that I replied THERE. Okay, now let's keep it positive and all go post some classified ads! :) People need to keep their Admins straight, ALP admin is only for HERE, and FB Admin is for THERE, and AIF co-admins are just FB users who started a page there. The AIF co-admin who edited my ALP forum and typed in from "Admin" was NOT an admin of ALP. Instruction booklets on Admin of different sites needed? Where's Rodney King because we need to all just get along!? :) Here, there, everywhere, if anyone does NOT want a REPLY at FB, that's simple, just don't send me a message there, and if anyone removes THEMSELF from my friendship list, remember they did that THEMSELF, try to remember it a year later. LOL!

She is one of many promoting an obvious scam and polluting the forums at Adlandpro. She helped to make it the cesspool it is today! She should be thrilled. Is 'control freaked' the new over-the-top drama catch phrase referring to posts getting deleted as happens on their site?

It seems that nothing has changed at warm and fuzzy AdlandPro. Vindictive personal attacks continue, people change sides more often than they change their underwear and the (un) enforcement of the ToS is still one of it's most outstanding features. The site still has no proper recognizable moderators for each section (heaven forbid they get paid) and the place is still full of attention seeking drama queens fighting it out for page views and pride of place in the Sadland heirachy. Meanwhile it's owner continues to add to his coffers $$ through the promotion of illegal businesses, get rich quick schemes" and porn. Plus ça change, plus c'est la meme chose

The most amusing thing I have read is Bodgan Fiedur's advice to his members "This is what I have learned first hand and in my opinion whenever you are responding to trolling, you are just putting gasoline on the fire. Troll can only feed on negative energy. When you show distress, troll is happy." He should have read the Julian Wieder / Howard Kenedy / AdlandPro thread here before he posted. lol and taken his own advice LOL Maybe he should come out of his cocoon and read something on the internet that wasnt written by himself or his henchmen, it could provide him with a real education on how to make money ojn the internet.

Scratchy, personal attacks on the internet by people with their own agendas who sit behind their computers in their PJs are always unpleasant and can be hurtful and AdlandPro has always been an uncontrolled hotbed of activity for them, beneath its warm and fuzzy veneer.

If you think about it these people are to be pitied in the end cos they haven't got the ability to stand on their own and are forever threatening to run to admin here or elsewhere for the most ridiculous things. Personally unless they get dirty about it similar to what happened here I would ignore them.

I wonder why anyone would complain about being removed as a friend. It's the prerogative of the individual who he wants to be friends with. So even if you had removed her and not her removing herself big deal.

Yes, I agree. This thread has seen some interesting posts since I reopened it last week but it was never my intention to keep it open for more then a week or so. I used it in order to express my opinion on the positive changes I've noticed over the past month or so in Adland and the reasons for the changes.

Since it's so easy to start new threads here there is no reason to delete anything from this thread. It was started for a purpose and I see no reason to delete the original objective of this thread that the title of the thread explains well. I dislike deletions and I for one won't be a party to it. It is a part of our common Adland history and in my opinion should remain intact.

I would consider starting a new thread if I thought people would be interested in continuing these new conversations.

I remember long time ago I removed Kathleen from my friends in FB because I was flooded with ads. Maybe I should have reported spam! Hello Friends,

I felt the urge to reopen this thread for a while after receiving reliable information that the backstabbing, demented, delusional, disloyal feline has a new career as a gossip columnist and is banging away at her keyboard with her RS gossip posts. Guess her ability as a scam buster is verrrrrrrrrrrrrry limited and and her major objective is revenge and to besmirch AdlandPro, it's owner and the many people she claims harassed her in the past without mentioning why she was called out and others just for the fun of it I guess. What she never was able to comprehend was that she was never attacked but called out cos of her disgusting and nefarious actions against others and she couldn't stand either the truth or the heat.

Now with her demented and delusional mind after being banned from this community she found a home where her rantings and gossip aren't questioned but given credibility with her half truths and innuendos.

This past week she even started a website of her own where finally she's the "boss" and can post all the gossip her sick mind can think of lies, allegations, innuendos etc. If anyone is thinking of posting there do so only if you agree with her sick, demented and delusional posts cos if you don't you'll automatically be banned and your posts deleted.

IMO her actions and posts are evidence of a very sick obsessive and jealous person. Some would "forgive" and "love" her cos love is the answer according to them but they got and get no love in return even though the untrustworthy, backstabbing and disloyal feline always claimed to love everybody and said of herself what a loving and good person she is, in her delusional mind of course.

This thread was started when she was called out on one of her unwarranted attacks on others and when they responded to the unjustified attacks their posts were deleted and she then banned them from her forums. Consequently threads of this sort came into being to show the truth and not her delusional and demented picture of the truth.

It now appears she's giving others advice on how to behave and distort the truth. I'd say it takes a very impressionable and not very bright person to take advice from someone who in the past used her backstabbing tactics against her and they were viciously attacking each other. Now they are bosom buddies. Maybe this person with her jumbled mind and posts will join the delusional obsessive backstabbing feline in her new homes and become her partner with the gossip column. It appears as if the delusional backstabbing feline gossiper is now even ghost writing for this "new friend" who was her enemy in the past. :)

Should one pity the feline's rampant jealousy and obsessive behavior? I think not cos her main objective now is to harm others with her gossip and the list of people she's "gossiped" about is endless (see partial list below). Friends in the past are now on her gossip list but alley cats were never know for loyalty. What does come to mind is the old song in the below video. Her actions, words and overall obsessive behavior is a sign that she's singing herself to sleep with this song every night after popping a few antidepressants........ and the sooner it really happens the better.

Here are some ironic issues, she had a free Adlander Plus membership given to her by Admin for approximately 18 months from May 2010 until October 2011, worth about $25 per month, a total of around $450 in free forums and other goodies such as Direct Contact messaging to 6,000 per month and other benefits. She gained her fame here, including featuring her own artwork, one of which was a topless portrait of herself posted at her forum last year, while now she posts about some sales ad for used underpants from Australia? LOL.

Now to smear this place where she had $450 worth of free promotional services and a daily worldwide audience...hmm....

...and to yack about cyber-bullying while trying to belittle YOUR appearance, and also to say the "elderly" are being attacked in the Coffee Klatch forum about Singsnap, ummmm...you and the owner of Coffee Klatch are both also in your late 60's.

May I please bore you with a little more documented evidence of this troublemaker called Peter Fogel? It makes no difference to me and he can say all those words about me he wants to, he & his gang just continue to help bring down that Scamland. Right now this is helping because it is calling attention away from the GET RICH QUICK schemes. Peter must be hooked on some woman's coattail to cash in on a few dollars or perhaps is a silent partner in some of the nasty businesses.

He, Jim Allen, and poor Ana Marie ruled the roost during 2007 and hurt a lot of people. He was in his glory. Here is just one excerpt from a PUBLIC forum where he came out with his malice:

How far is that from saying it was you. That is the only public mention made on that issue. In a private chat I told you that I knew it wasn't you but had suspicions of 2 that probably did. That was a misleading statement you made.
Never anywhere did I say you were an e-banking scammer. Find it and show it to me. Another misleading statement.

That is a far cry from what you wrote in your post now. Another misleading statement. BTW, when you post a thread it goes to all the members of your forum and your friends so the 630 views when we chatted earlier and the now 721now is comprised of your friends too. And you said you only communicated with 100 common friends so again a misleading statement.
As to the people that reported you to the various authorities I will only say I wasn't one of them.

Georgios, Those that know me in the community know I will be polite when I post but I won't mince words when I believe something has to be said. As I mentioned earlier I never said you were an e-scammer nor that you reported JoAnne's forums. Find it if you can. You know this and yet yet you mislead with outrageously misleading statements. The only people enjoying this are the attention seekers and pity mes and we all know who they are.
I will say this though about your example and your poll as well. The example was a terrible one and can be understood as a veiled threat. Your poll had 4 options and only one was favorable to you. It was worded not well and it appears that you had an agenda in advance namely the above misleading post. You reached the following conclusion from the results of the poll:

It is impossible to do a serious statistical analysis of a poll with 31 votes and at the time we chatted there were 630 views and now 721 and probably more by the time I post this. The poll ends at midnight so it might change in anycase. Especially when the poll voting options were one sided to begin with 75% negative and only 25% positive. That is less then 5% of the views and that is what you based your conclusions on? I read earlier that friends of yours stated that they didn't vote and they would have voted option 4. There are plenty others that probably felt te same. One final point on this issue. You will probably be surprised to read this but in the close group of Joanne's friends there were those that voted option 4. I know this from personal knowledge.
You see Geo, you mislead all the time in your "To Whom It May Concern". I didn't lose in the other dispute. I still firmly believe my allegations were true and so do many others. I stated then that for me it was a closed issue and here you are reopening it. As to my BTW, read it again Geo. I thought it was funny then and I still do. Do you want another BTW? In regard to the "other" dispute I know what your thoughts on that matter are too.
When the issue with deleted post started on the last night of the POTY poll 2 things happened.
1. The POTW team immediately resigned both publicly and I sent a PM to Bogdan to that affect right after the announcement in the POTY thread. So Bogdan (admin) didn't discharge us it was of our own volition.
2. I removed myself from the POTY contest.
I also sent Bogdan a PM explaining why I removed myself and that Pauline is the winner.
Everything above is documented and can be found in the POTY thread and the PM I sent Bogdan he posted when he announced Pauline was the 2008 POTY.
Gang of four? Interesting, the only gang I see now is a gang of one (with background supporters) that is trying to get his revenge with misleading statements.
I see Joanne and Peter all the time. Well I'll tell you this Geo. I gave you my recommendation in our chat just before you posted the above J'Accuse. I read your reasons why this is a problem for you in the chat and I can understand your fears. I can also understand Bogdan's concern.
I will tell you this. Just as you asked me when we made our truce/peace just last month that I ask Joanne to delete her thread my reply then was that JoAnne is a strong independent woman. She will do as she sees fit and will not be swayed by attempts to convince her to do anything against her will. The same in this case. If Joanne sees fit to delete her threads that is her choice. It is not my place nor have I the right to tell her what to do. I can tell her what my opinions are and she will in the end do as she sees fit and/or as her attorneys advise her to do.
My conclusion is different from yours. I believe that this act was planned in advance and that includes the poll (the options and wording is enough for a discerning reader to see that). I guess you want your revenge and I wonder if it might not just boomerang right back at you.
As I told you in our chat last night (our time) my belief is that you are going about this in the wrong way and it most probably could have been resolved in a different manner.

It continued through 8 pages and Georgios closed the forum but it is still there. Some of the worst ones have been removed. One by the owner herself before she left never to return to Adland.

That was the year 2007, they gang tried to get Peter elected as POTTY of the year by fake accounts voting and waiting until midnight to have Ana Marie vote with a friend's account. They got caught!!!

Peter and Jim have continued to harass and bully me and several others since that time. I take no credit for catching them in the act because I don't stay up that late.

I realize the best way to handle a bully is ignore them. Well these goons need exposed to the whole world and maybe someday they will learn a lesson. I doubt it but nothing like trying.

And, in this latest bullying of a member, he was simply astonished that she made those personal messages PUBLIC!! His little Mary Evelyn said it was against Adland rules and the TOC!! OMG!!! He must have forgotten he was one of the worst to do it!!!
