Did you read this Bad Wolfy and that is why you had your now servant Bogdan Fiedur put that ridiculous RASCAL site back up?? This time to include my name that someone cannot even spell. They make a thing called Spell Check for most programs, you might want to start using it.

Congratulations on being chosen as Goodwill Ambassador. I think there are 2 very disappointed people out there who were vying for the title and their good wishes are for public consumption only but as I said in another thread hypocrisy is running rampant here in Adland lately.

I'm not sure why the Goodwill Ambassador needs a "team" but maybe that was to placate the disappointed members. :)

I have to agree with Kathleen's and Evelyn's posts and Jim's amens. But being me I'll go one step further and say that it's inappropriate for a member to be part of the GA team and a POTW team member if they publicly posted negatively about a POTW candidate in Facebook or any other online community. It's definitely not the sort of promotion Adland needs on the net and there is no "goodwill" in actions of that sort. But, that's just my opinion and others might find some sort of distorted logic in people like that being POTW team members and GA team members. It sorta feels like putting the fox in charge of the hen house and rewarding inappropriate behavior..

You might want to reconsider your choices or were they foisted on you with the Goodwill Ambassador title?

Condecending congrats if ever I heard. They jumped on Bogdan's new GWA like a bunch of bullying children. This was actually a very nice person and also timid, can you imagine how it made them feel??

I think I'll go post at "Adlanders in Facebook" abou hoping one of the POTW nominees loses. That seemed to work for Sara & Pat about getting on the Adlandpro Goodwill Team.

Are there any other pre-requisites for being on the Goodwill Team? Besides promoting someone to lose in public?

Kathleen thanks for the laugh first thing this morning. You go girl. My thoughts exactly. I made a copy of your post because you can bet it will soon be deleted and this one too. When a friend sent me the list it made me kinda nauseated when I read it, if you know what I mean. This is the group that is going to promote goodwill here at ALP? I told my friend you have got to be kidding. With the exception of one or two on the list it's really very sickening. The truth doesn't seem to be too popular here at ALP anymore. Never has for that matter.

An Open Letter to Bogdan


Bogdan I have thought long and hard about what I am about to say. First, though I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this online community. I have made some VERY SPECIAL friends in the time I have been a member here, very special people I would not have gotten to know otherwise, and for that I will be eternally grateful to you.

To get to what I want to say - Bogdan, as owner of this online community, I think you have made a grave mistake by openly siding with certain people and openly siding against others in open forums. By doing so you have alienated a lot of people. I know it is human nature to like some people more than others but in your position as owner of this site, you can't be afforded the luxury of showing who your favorites are. You must keep your feelings in the background and not make them public if you don't want to continue offending and alienating a lot of people. When you say or do something to placate the minority you offend the majority and that is not good PR.

Think of it as a teacher who has their pets and lets everyone know who they are. It's been my experience that teachers pets are usually resented big time by the ones who are not and the ones who are not are usually in the majority while teachers pets are usually in the minority. Another thing about teachers pets is they are usually tattle tales to boot. Just causes more discord. Not a good thing is it? No, not good at all.

When the announcement was made yesterday about the Goodwill Ambassador and who the members of the team were, it showed everyone again who the teachers pets were and people resent that. It was like rubbing salt into a wound. Also to be perfectly honest, I was confused by the choice of the leader as they are rarely logged in anymore. Confused and shocked. How is this going to help this community grow? I can agree if this community is going to grow and thrive some sort of measures need to be taken but I definitely don't think this is the answer. Again, just my opinion.

Another strong opinion I have is, when there is a heated discussion going on in one of the forums, let it be. It will sort itself out in the end. And to me, deleting posts and banning people from forums for expressing an opinion is utterly childish, to say the least, but then that too seems to be the norm around here nowadays. Being banned from a forum yesterday was a first for me and to be quite honest, I was shocked. The reason given was just two words -"your post". I know I am very opinionated, but that is part of who I am and I make no bones about it, nor do I make any excuses about it.

I wrote this in the spirit of constructive criticism and it is my hope, that is the way it will be taken. There needs to be a lot healing if we as a community are going to survive, and Bogdan, I think it needs to start with you. Again this is just my opinion based on my daily observations here.

What a travesty and mockery of an award that many previous owners have worked so hard for.

To suggest that we choose between 1) people that spam our forums and 2) people who welcome with open arms, porn and scammers is more than I can stomach.

Why would the worst spammer we have ever endured, the most banned person, the person ripping our community apart even be nominated?

I am ashamed of what has happened to our community. In all honesty, I can't vote. Wish you all well and hope you all enjoy the "New Improved" community laying in the cyperspace gutter.I have supported for 5 years.

Bogdan's online attacks are just drawing attention to the myriad of problems with that forum. The infighting will drive away the traffic and bingo, the money will dry up and the cesspool will disappear into cyberspace hell. I know, I know, yes we are all sick of that scummy place but I was over taking a glimpse and it looks like the two Star Clowns are back in charge. Now with elections drawing near, it makes me even happier that I will not be in touch with that place. They made life miserable for everyone back in 2008 and I see some of their cronies are coming back in to help with this one. Yuk!!!

I hope you also sent out a new notification to the whole community like you normally do with each new poll. Again if we're talking about being fair then a new notification needs to be sent out to everyone and my guess is there's going to be some who are so fed up at this point that they won't bother to vote again.
