Ah but did you press 19 times? Are you sure? Really sure? Ha!
Probably the cleaner is in the office and has unplugged the computer to use her vacuum cleaner. Has been known to happen...

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
Speaking of 'Chris', has anyone found anything that shows he 'owns' Banners Broker International? Its supposed to be a Canadian based, are there any resources out there to find details on the 'company' he is CEO of?
"Banners Broker was founded in November 2010 by Chris Smith and Kul Josun and is a new innovative online advertising company with headquarters in Toronto, Canada"

The first link states that the last reboot on that server was 24 days ago. The server IP traces to Saint Louis, Missouri, USA. But that's just where the datacenter is.
The second link shows all subdomains that Banners Broker has - all seem to 403 forbidden.

No, the Canadian operation is, and always has been, owned by Rajiv and Gloria Dixit. No idea if it's possible to find out whose name is on the company in Belize, but I'll bet it's just a nominee director.

403 Forbidden Error (What It Is and How To Fix It)
Just for people like me.
What's interesting is the websites all use Linux as OS. Am sure the developers of that would be well chuffed to find out that it's being used in such a way. That last sentence was being sarcastic.

I checked that months ago. I emailed a guy in the Belize corporate regisistry office; he checked and there is no record of any business called banners anything, or Chris Smith.
Now, it could be called "Dolboyop Broker" and registered by komrade Demitri...

[QUOTE=hendyphilhendy;36713]Some food for thought in this document
http://www.berr.gov.uk/files/file24757.pdf
I would say Banners Broker definitely qualifies as a 'trading scheme'. The maximum amount you are allowed to put in is £200.
I have some other comments and will quote direct later as am on phone and heading to a client in a moment.[/QUOTE
Does this include any avenues by which you could get your money back? (Phil and Jason)

I put less than £200 in - I probably ended up putting around £100 at most in and that's being generous.

You should have asked the SW for £100 for your story then

I think it's too late to ask now.
I didn't think my little mention was worth £100.
But what do I know?

I suppose "Banners Broker" could be a trading style of another company, but I doubt it.

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
Well my uncle put in 1000. I had heard through a contact that the fraud squad were investigating bb. After making enquiries I arranged with my uncle to make a report in writing to the
to them However in the meantime my uncle contacted his upliner, who assured him that he will fix everything up after the xmas break, and he will be unblocked and get his money. So he wont go ahead with his statement now, untill after xmas, despite my trying to explain their delaying tactics. It is really frustrating. how they take advantage of older gullible people. The address for anyone to make a written complaint is:
Garda Superintendent, Anglesea Street Garda Station, Cork City

Have you tried McCarthy's number to see if it's still being answered?
