Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
I was able to access the dashboard last night (15 hours ago now), the "whats new in v2.9" splash screen came up and all (Chrome and IE, no force refreshing or anything).
Strange that others are unable to.
What message do you get on screen when you can't access the site? Is it a 'Page cannot be found' or something else?

...on my home computer I get the same message as when it went down i.e back at 5.00pm EST. But on my work computer I CAN get it with the message to 'clear cache'. It's not that I'm bothered that I can't get on, its just strange?

It's a tour de force of last ditch efforts with these guys, the latest update will definitely bring in much more monthly payments from victims who have to pay fees & buy "traffic packs".
I cant see them (raj, "chris" & kul) running off into the sunset anytime soon when I think about how much they will be earning in "fees" from existing affiliates never mind new sign ups.
The people I know who are in banners brokers are dutifully making the monthly payments and keeping the account from going "negative", and none of them has tried to withdraw because they are "building the investment", the criminals behind banners brokers have certainly raised the bar for this kind of scam with a smoke and mirror jurisdiction set up and breaking into the old school hotel room tour sign up routine.
Considering how many zeeklers are still convinced that the big bad fed shut down their beloved profitable and honest cash cow, it would not surprise me if banners brokers keeps going long after the banners brokers website is redirected to court appointed bankruptcy lawyer's site.
its going to take a while......

Reminds me of the days of timeshares when they started upping the yearly fees from £100-£200-£300 and so on until people got fed up and, when they couldn't sell their "investment" for even 2% of what they'd paid, simply had to walk away and lose everything...

quite a depressing view, hope you're not right. There was I hoping that it now made itself so complicated that it would be just too difficult to sell .

I also hope i'm wrong, your right about the recruiting winding down and it is much more difficult to sell but my first hand knowledge is the many many victims who still have faith have 3 choices, 1) recruit so the commissions cover the fees, 2 keep injecting new money for fees, 3) let the account go negative and lose everything. its a win win win situation for dixit & his cronies.

It's an upgrade as far as the scammers running Banners Broker are concerned.

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
Do members actually have to inject new cash for these fees, or do the fees come out of the "earnings" bucket in their account?
I'd say its brilliant the way they are winding this ponzi down...you have to give them that. You can keep cutting a slice of pie in half indefinitely.

.
they are all encouraged to set the panels to 100%, (and most do) so the "profits" immediately buy new panels, leaving them no money for traffic packs & fees, hence new cash being sent into the scheme from existing affiliates/victims

Before this version 2.9, all fees could be paid from "earnings" if you managed the account properly.
Now BB is doing its level best to make sure the majority of funds stay INSIDE the program. As a result, all new money flowing in can be stretched further.
They do get credit for delaying the inevitable but the clock is ticking.

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
I just posted this at MMG:
Someone in our group recently received a very high 5-figure payout after submitting an invoice to BB.
Yet, my $193 prepaid card payout is way overdue.
Looks like this guy got a lot of OUR payouts.
Seems strange for what is said to be a Ponzi. Can someone enlighten me on this?

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
Wa-hey! Mark 'The Job Slayer' Stokes had a birthday on Monday... and from his fawning fan club, this custom cake:
bbcake.jpg
If there's any justice, he'll be wishing his next birthday cake has a file in it.
(I wonder if the happy Hooker knows about this logo abuse.)
"There's a sucker born every minute"... which wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't a sociopath to exploit them born every hour.

Isn't that against the rules of using the name and logo?

I suspect that, much like Terry David Stern's explanation of how BB works, it will be hard to swallow...

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
Some words of wisdom for Banners Broker from one of our old friends & senior
Banners Broker Scammer Roland Millward, this from the Banners Broker Facebook Page.
http://www.facebook.com/bannersbroker
And Angela is very happy there will be no more late payments now that they are now "automated"

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
Banners Broker Iceland (again - really very useful) has this to say today:-
Our client Bannersbroker, would like to inform you that when withdrawing money you need to ensure you have enough funds in your e wallet to cover any subscritions or fees for the month or you cannot withdrawal or transfer. This includes Traffic Packs and Admin fees.
If you try to withdraw all of your eWallet funds, you may get an error message stating "Unable to fulfil request"
EXAMPLE:
Ewallet (available to withdraw) = $1000
Traffic Packs and Admin fees = $300
You can withdraw: $700 or less.
Interesting. The member has to be able to cover the cost of their membership fees and traffic packs BEFORE they can get hold of any money. Also, someone over on Finch's site was today saying that the recent changes force the member to buy more traffic packs than normal because they have to allocate them differently than before. He says this:-
In the new 2.9 system, your general traffic has to be pre-allocated in ONE TIME to all the colors. So suppose you have 400.000 traffic, you have to split that into all colors banks, at once !!! You cannot say, well I have a green one ready to be qualified, let’s take 135.000 from the 400.000 and put it into the green bank. You have to allocate the remaining 265000 to your other color banks, even though you may not have panels ready to be qualified.
If you don’t allocate all your general traffic at once, the button to finish this action simply does not appear.
Which means some color banks will have not enough traffic and some banks will have to much traffic, so you’ll either have to wait until your next traffic pack purchase, or buy more traffic packs.
With every new traffic pack purchase, you have to activate that traffic pack, so 100.000 go at once into your general traffic, and than split it into the desired color banks AT ONCE!
Smart move from BB, but it’s very easy to see it through. By having to divide traffic into color banks IN ADVANCE, the only goal of BB is to make you buy even more traffic packs, and soon you’ll have 10+ and become an executive 500$/month member.
I've always wondered about these traffic packs. I've always wondered why you would need to generate fake traffic if your banner was placed somewhere really good and was being seen by real people, as seems to be the implied promise of BB. The only thing I can see is that they are a device to draw in more money. That seems to be the case still.

Yep, now you will automatically not be paid as distinct from manually not being paid.

hmmm, 2.9 heavily reliant on new recruitment, Stern swears you / BB don't need recruits for it to work
very desperate for attendance for the 'world tour', just very desperate on many levels really

sounded like referring to David Wood was a faux pas! Presume he was referring to this DW and tbh, sounds a little strange
