Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
When they announced the Blue Panel draw did they state that one has to be present in Canada? Sure some hopefuls bought a panel not thinking that they have no chance of winning unless they spend another 400 USD + airfare + Hotel...
I should stay out of this forum for a while. My blood pressure rises to an alarming high I am getting so mad!

It's difficult to maintain a straight face sometimes, as some of the crap they spout is ridiculous. The draw would probably be um.. fixed (what, BB fix something, no never) for one of the higher echelons to win. Actually, they'll be the only ones there anyway.
Lying down in a darkened room works for me (most of the time) when I get irate about the whole situation.

Assuming there is a convention, assuming there is a draw !

Not me, but that is just the kind of thing that will keep the faithful believing. If someone really wanted to dig in to this they could see if they have booked the same caterers, photographers, soundmen, etc as with the last galas in that area. While somewhat sneaky, most frauds would not take the time to actually build a ruse that deep.

I am sure that it is only a provisional booking at the moment.
The Irish venue was notified of the (cough) nature of BB and they still went ahead. Must be something to do with money in the bank rather than any dubious morality of companies. Eventbrite who were involved in publicising events, pulled their participation when informed as to what BB is about.
BB need to sell the tickets. They probably aren't going to. They certainly cannot afford to have the same shambles as the Manchester gig recently. The gloss is wearing thin: maybe they will be still around in July, but if I were anything to do with this as venue provider/caterer etc I'd be making sure that the deposit money is in cash - now!

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
Just as an aside on the SEC rumours, it would seem that BB may have bought that office in Carlow Ct and that it sold for excess 1 million cad. No matter where they keep their money, Belieze , Canada, IOM, there would still have to be a paper trail for this purchase. No one can bring that kind of money into a country unaccountd for. At minimum, the bank that would have processed it must have had to satisfy themselves through their own KYC and money laundering requirements. Given that they have this money trail, are residents of Canada ( no evidence to support that they are not citizens of another country) own property here and have staff who must be being paid which would further involve revenue authorities in Canada , doesn't this give enough involvement for a Canadian money laundering / fraud invetigation?

have you ever read some of the BB 'love' sites and forums? They would believe anything, for whatever their reasons, it's crazy how many NEED to believe. Because of this, as much as it kills me to say it, anything is possible.

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
Brenda, I don't know what it is like in Canada, but in the US just about all property records and taxes are public and easy to find on local county websites. Not to mention sales, transfers of ownership and change in title. You are spot on, anything like this if real leaves a huge paper trail. It is amazing how easily even scams as big as Madoff could have come apart with just a little digging.

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
I don't want to depress anyone, but having just been on the "Is it down right now?" website, it seems that the BB site is "up and reachable".
Even if their website is still showing "under maintenance". And of course you do seem able to order your Niagara Falls tickets. However, when, out of interest, I clicked on their BBtour box (to see where it took me) what should come up but a "This site is untrusted" warning!
Appropriate?

hi all
this post over on Mr Finches site:
"I thought you all would be interested in knowing, that the gentleman that put BB in the situation they’re in…the man behind the “straightline-doubler-cycler” introduction, and all of the other crap BB has had to address and deal with for the past 2 years, Kul, is about to open his own version of BB in Portugal April 1st."

I am from Portugal and I have not heard anything about it. But, after once publicly criticising BB on a Fb page I am an outcast and I cant go to the meetings no more, so maybe things are happening without my knowing. I once met Kul, actually I had dinner with him. I asked a million and a half questions about the business but the answers I got were in its essence: Inform yourself about the online advertisement industry and IT and listen to the trainings then you will find all the answers.
Well, I have no knowledge of IT world or online marketing so I could not really drill him. I was just left with an unpleasant feeling.
I will keep my ears open here about Kul and let you all know what is happening.

Bom dia Newto, have read the whole post on Finchsells and in my opinion it sounds like it comes from a BB insider or more possibly Stern. The post in it;s entirety has more holes in it than a sieve. It is typical of their distraction tactics. As a matter of interest, am I correct in thinking that one of Portugal's biggest BB players isn't Portuguese?

I don't know the "big players" here in Portugal. As I said I am not part of the scene any more. The main activity is in the Algarve and I am from the north. About Kul leaving BB, it was during a convention here in Portugal that he proposed to BB to join up with some German company. Chris and Co did not like the Idea so the next day they announced that Kul would be leaving and that they are ever so sad to see him go since he had contributed so much blablabla...
He was not fired, he left because of philosophical differences, or so we were told.

thanks Newto, have been to Portugal many times, it's a beautiful country. You must remember though, with BB, nothing is ever the truth!
