Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
Well, here's something posted in the comments section on the "Is it down right now" website, posted about half an hour ago.........hmmm.......
Just an update regarding the Banners Broker website. The website is currently down and under maintenance.
The site was a victim of a DDoS attack; therefore security persuasions have been taken. This event is unfortunate however this type of attack has affected several major companies: TD Canada Trust, Twitter, GitHub, Poker.com etc.The site is expected to be down for the next 12 hours.
Any techie out there able to confirm this? In my view, it's yet another excuse! And not even an original one!

Now, I know it's probably against protocol to reply to your own postings, but the above (not my bit, but the rest) has now appeared verbatim on th BB Iceland FB page.
So, are they quoting from "Is it down right now", or are they looking here and quoting from RS?
Interesting!
So, hello BB Iceland, North Start Support, if you are looking in!

What they meant was that all the aforementioned websites have suffered DDoS attacks in the past.
A DDoS is like a crowd of people (web surfers) all trying to get through your front door (your website) at the same time - to the point where your doorway can't cope, people get jammed in the doorway, and no one else can get in (access your website). An attack is deliberate and aimed at a particular website, so its not like "oh no, there is a DDoS affecting all these sites" at the same time (although that is possible).
The symptoms the BB website has been showing of late are NOT symptomatic of a DDoS attack. Although it is possible. More likely is they saw what happened to RS, and thought "there's a good excuse we haven't used yet".
If they are self-hosting now, as someone else has said, then they would need to have a damn good connection (Fibre) to the 'net to support the outbound traffic. Otherwise it is going to be a rather slow website.
It would also beg the question of what sort of security they have in place protecting the database server that holds all that personal information. Knowing BB, they are probably using the free version of AVG!

Sorry that excuse has been used before, I think it was in August of last year.
From what we've seen, BB couldn't self-host a p*ss-up in a brewery!!
Site still "appears" to be down. How's the packing going boys??

Re: Banners Broker HYIP ponzi scam
Meanwhile, over on the official BB FB site, there's these postings......
I have sent this email to Mr Rajit I believe one of the top BB Management person. I have received an automatic reply informing me to send my complaint to support which I will do: Dear Rajit,
Obviously BB is having some challenging period right now, but Im not sure whether you and the management are aware just how much insecurity your lack of communication is causing the affiliates out there. You must appreciate that people have joined BB with the aim of increasing their income and some of us have been with the program since April 2012 and have never withdrawn a diam! Personally I have been trying to convince myself not to pay too much attention to the whistle blowers out there because I was convinced that this is just a temporary issue, but now I am not convinced as I am seeing more and more objective arguments coming from the affiliates worldwide that there is cause to worry. The management has not bothered to updated action being taken on the official facebook site now that there is no way of getting in touch with them.
I am really disappointed at the way in which BB generally are treating what I call "clients". As a communication trainer I always tell people that I train that communication changes everything! If you communicate you are reassuring people as knowledge is power. Without knowledge people will be grabbing to any source of information that they will have at hand and in most cases this may not necessarily be the correct reflection of what is happening.
I am in the process of consulting my lawyers as I would like to get back the money that I put in BB. It is obviously not much, but at the end of the day its mine and it took a lot of sacrifice from my side to be able to put it in the program.
So from my side, this is an official notice of intention of taking legal action which I will give BB 14 days time in which to response and to give me an official statement on when I can be able to withdraw $750 out of BB. Failure of which I will request my lawyers to take the necessary measures to report BB to the Government and also to demand BB to refund my money.
I had so much faith in BB and that is why it is so much painful for me to decide to take this drastic measures in attempting to salvage the losses from my side.
In the spirit of doing continued successfully business I do hope to get a response to my email.
Best regards
Elizabeth Horlemann

Two days ago I bought a 2nd traffic pack thinking my first would be available by now. I need both to qualify a green panel before I can qualify purple and blue panels. Still no sign of it. Now I cannot get onto the website to see if it is there or to qualify my panels. This means I can't make any money. This is unacceptable. Please sort it ASAP.
What about India Payment withdrawals? I never ever able to withdraw payments, and now the website is down. Please suggest. Once I tried via payza but it was pending for 3-4 months and then reversed back. When should I expect the website will be online and working? Kindly address the issue URGENTLY!
Site still down as far as I am concerned.

Yes the bit where she mentions doing more "business" with them was quite sad. How can people like Raj/Chris look at themselves in a mirror. Total, total scumballs.

They will refund money to you very quicky if you have not infringed any of their laws and they have more power than the Police in UK. I used to be VAT registerd so their records on my trading are very comprehensive.
I had a dispute with my advertising agent when I was registered to collect VAT and I reported her. They went after her for the debt as we were both VAT registered. they returned the VAT which she had taken from me and I do not know what she had to pay but Customs told me that the matter had been settled to the satisfacion of The Crown in a crown court.

Yes how depressing. I wonder if the bloke who thanked "the best CEO ever" for changing his family's lifestyle realises just how many family's lifestyles will change for the worse when this implodes. Smith ( AKA Scammy Scammerson) if you are the best CEO ever then I'm a Martian.

Is this from an official BB site or some BB group using the BB logo for their facebook page? I can't help noticing the names, very, for the want of a better word, foreign. It makes me wonder that there are groups of BB followers a little behind the times and who are still carrying on business as usual, scary!

Don't think they would say they are having legal issues and phones being confiscated! It's someone else posting

You know that, and I know that.
Sadly, those who have been brainwashed into thinking BB are wonderful, won't because in their eyes, Chris Smith etc can do no wrong.

Raj lives in Oshawa, aye.
I confirmed the address quite a few pages back.
It is public knowledge and should be easy enough to find again.
