Thread: Freelancer.com Payment Problem

Hi i'm new here :)
i'm having a nightmare with freelancer.com.i'm really helpless at the moment.Reason is almost all the payments which came from one of my clients at freelancer.com were reversed.Reversed amount is 500$.i'm a reputed freelancer in freelancer.com who has done over 150 projects.But now my client isn't responding to my messages.it's been 3 weeks now.That employer had verified her payment method,phone etc.Since the client has verified the phone i asked freelancer guys to contact the client via phone but freelancer staff refused it.Now my account balance is negative ( picture attached ) and i'm unable to do any work due to that.i haven't done anything wrong but still i have this issue.i have complained many times but didn't work.How can i get a legal action for this ? please help me.thank you.

Welcome to Realscam. There are several threads about Freelancer.com. You are one of many having issues.

You may file a complaint with the BBB. You may file a complaint with the financial institution about the reversed charge. Small claims court might be an option.

This is a tough one as for that small of a dollar amount, you will not want to spend too much chasing it.

they really need to contact the employer and get the money back.but they are still struggling with that.now they are offering me a free membership plan for this.i don't buy that.u can't compare 50$ membership plan with 500$ payment which i lost.
