What's funny is the the fake quack doc got kicked out of BB, and was behind HourlyRevShare which tanked after about 3-4 momths is now pimping this one, and of course several others. Hopefully some people who were in his downline in HRS will finally sue the pants off him.

Would she be Lorenzo's girl of BB fame?

    From
    Banners Broker - bannersbroker.com

James King is busy in Imarketslive with Sharon James and Lorenzo Guarini to help the people he suckered into BB ... James King also claimed he made $20k with BB prior to Christmas, is still promoting BB and BBMobile to this very day whilst claiming he knows the inside information and plans ... James King's sponsor is Simon Stepsys.
    ...
I also recommend documenting in detail all the executive staff and anything that links them to BB and promotion (webinars, event speeches/appearances, country meetings, job titles etc) - (Kul Josun, Tara Josun, Rajiv Dixit, Chris Smith, Lorenzo Guarini, Kelly Guarini, Stephanie Schlacht, Grant D'Eall, David Hooker, Kurt Kornselsen

Hi guys, I'm with IML. Not on the marketing side but trading.. (so I pay a fee per month). Ask me what you want to know about the trading etc.

What do they need you for? Surely there is a lot more money to be made trading their winning picks on their own than whatever money you might be paying them each month.

I mean it just like it sounds, what do they need you for? As in what value do you add to the operation?

Successful traders with documented records have virtually no trouble raising 100s of millions to manage. Traders who hate the politics of managing money trade their own accounts.

So IML needs to feed you picks in exchange for a payment WHY?

Re: Imarketslive - Banners Broker redux ?

This is understandable, market moves, creates instability while you as a "trader" want to have a stable income. and you are not responsible for people loses if they followed your advice.

I, myself switched to reselling own written trading systems and developing custom systems for $ instead of running after markets myself.
This is what called a job, trading is not really a job.
Providing signals for a salary is a job - for which you can find a lot of people.

There are way more fortunes made on services/products around stock markets than on trading stocks.

Now, looking at IML, it is not hard to find and pay some trader who will give his signals or just grab someone else's signals and resell (he wants stable payments too even if he is dead wrong)
The problem here is that it is only used as an excuse to run a matrix pyramid scam on top of it.
And make some extra $ for reselling signals. But the whole point is it is a pyramid.

In other words re-selling vitamins also not illegal.
But claiming that they cure cancer, etc., Or running an illegal pyramid recruiting scheme using vitamins as an excuse (product) is.

Nik this is EXACTLY where I am coming from.

There are 1000s of services will pick stocks, options, futures, sports, you name it for a fee. The FEE is where they make their money. Otherwise they would not be selling the information, they would trade on it themselves and give the money away if they were the generous type.

Not to say that any service can't have a winning streak, just like at any casino or sports book there are likely a few winners, but seldom are they the same people year in and year out.

On the dishonest side of trading chat rooms there are several things one usually sees.

Trades at a price no one can actually get off, sometimes caused by the movement of all the followers rushing to make the trade. So the service will claim an entry price of X, but almost no one got filled at that price.

Often coupled with front running, where the tout will buy at X and tell his followers to buy at X+1. The room operator then sells his supply to the room participants. Like the pump and dump.

Then you get services that will offer 10 picks, and tell how great the 1 winner was while the other 9 are ignored. Exactly what Lenny Dykstra did with his "Nails on the Numbers" fiasco, even while he was pawning his World Series Ring. Lenny Dykstra's legal and financial woes continue to mount - ESPN

    ================================================

To illustrate how hard it can be to beat the market, never minding the bullshit scam that is IML, don't EVER pay for that kind of crap.

There are two services in the US that are well followed by investors. One being Investors Business Daily, and the other Value Line. Both profess great returns using their methods, IBD with CANSLIM, and Value Line with their #1 rated stocks. They ALSO both happen to run funds using their methods.

Long story short, in real life both the funds underperformed the Midcap 400 (MDY) and the NASDAQ. In other words one would have been better off just owning a representation of the market and heading to the park for a nap than having their money managed by "professionals" using their own methods.

They can splash all about with how great their systems are, if only someone had bought our special method they would have been rich. These are companies with HUGE followings and years in the business. If someone still thinks IML is going to magically deliver them trading winners for a few bucks a year they probably should have the courts appoint a guardian.

Re: Imarketslive - Banners Broker redux ?

In IML case there are no past trader data. And no any real record of their Christopher Terry market success, except couple his articles on online blogs and in several off–the-shelf magazines.
But what i see on him is that he says he made it Big in Amway (and when he had to choose between his girlfriend and Amway he picked amway)
and according to Oz and some information he also made it big in Zeek.

He is what is called a serial MLM pimp,

As on his trading successes I see nothing and i heard IML so far has a bad record and according to some participants not worth $247 a month.

As for services selling signals, one comes to mind is Michael Parness's Trendfund , which been around for 15 years and does exactly what IML is saying they do.
Trendfund had bad days had good days, most people leave because they struggle to make money on signals or learn the trade and do not feel it is worth paying the fees anymore.
Hotel meetings supply a new flow of newbies.
Michael is somehow a strange character, for one i do not buy his story of being homeless and living on the streets of New York before he figured how to make it. But its is his PR story and he sticks to it - can let him this one. Is it a scam or Is he guilty of selling a service not meeting expectations? i think second.

Also what makes Trendfund a not a pyramid, for one their affiliate program pays 20% for any person you bring, off that person's fees, does not go deeper than this one level, and bummer, to become an affilate
you pay – wait for it - NOTHING.

Will not any business just be happy if someone brings more customers to it and willing to split the fee ?

So why IML affiliate program goes 8 levels deep and has to charge $247 upfront for such a privilege of letting you to bring customers to them ? :)

this is a recruiting pyramid, selling signals is just a cover story, i see people only getting in to bring other people who will bring other people, i see almost nobody who are there just for signals and according to those who are there, signals there suck.

PS: one poster on Oz blog, showed that IML signals are a Martingale betting system :)
way to go, if you want to be wiped out :)

If Chris made it big in Zeek he settled with the Receiver as he is not on the list of those the Receiver is suing unless he used a company name. There was a thread at MMG on IML, but it seems Chris got it taken down. There was a lot of information there that now has gone MIA due to the thread being removed.

Two of the traders have disappeared, and now it is said he has a new trader that actually is making some trades that are successful. The trades they had in December went south in a hurry and a lot of people lost a lot of money if the story is true.

One of the things that Chris conveniently forgot to tell the members joining was that to make any money you had to drop at least $5K into trading, or you would barely break even. Toss in all the bad trades and this will be lucky to survive much longer. One trader is not going to save them. So much for watching live trades as they happen. I will say one thing positive for Chris, what he is doing in regard to selling his trading signals does not require any kind of license or to be registered with NFA or the SEC.

This kills the backstory that after years of time together in the financial markets a group of traders have come together. I hope would be participants consider that the people pushing this garbage have not changed their story one lick. The whole reason for the business model falls apart and we get no reevaluation? Sounds more like a Mike Dillard fairytale than a serious operation.

Surely Mark Ghobril could bring his mortgage out of foreclosure with a few hot trades, no one wants a chef that doesn't eat his own cooking.

I tried to find any serious trading chats that were discussing this "opportunity", other than RealScam and OZ it seems like the first two pages of a Google search are SEO spam about what a "Fantastic" opportunity this is. It is almost as if someone had cut and pasted the same message on a bunch of websites, people wouldn't be so dishonest just to sign affiliates would they?

Re: Imarketslive - Banners Broker redux ?

A lot of changes at the IML website. They used to have 5 testimonial videos and now they have none. One of the video testimonials was of Louis Labarba who tearfully told how Christopher Terry had changed his life by being his mentor in trading. Then when you went to the page listing the trading team there was Chris, Louis (yep the same one as in the video testimonial) and Nick Taylor-Stoddard. Now they have none listed. Here is what used to be showing on the Traders page:

CHRISTOPHER TERRY: Christopher Terry is the President & CEO of iMarketsLive, and has been a full-time trader and educator since 1998 in the Futures, Forex, and Equity Markets. During this time, Chris has helped thousands of traders across the globe reach financial independence from both his online Mentoring and Live Trading Education

LOUIS LABARBA: For 20 years, Louis Labarba owned a successful contracting company in Connecticut, specializing in home remodeling. Five years ago he decided to pursue trading, with Christopher Terry as his mentor. Today, Mr. Labarba is a full- time professional trader who specializes in the S&P 500 minis, and is active in several times frames and trading styles.

NICK TAYLOR-STODDARD: Mr. Taylor started his career in the Financial Markets more than 30 years ago, as a junior Money Broker in Sterling Fixed Income. Later, he progressed onto Derivatives in European Currency and was highly successful in leading a team that was number one in its chosen field.

The Executive Team used to consist of: Christopher Terry, CEO and Co-Founder, Isis De La Torre, Co-Founder and CFO, and Taigh Smyth, COO. Now it is only Chris and Isis on the Executive Management Team. Also a lot of other pages have gone MIA that were on the old site, but I do have screenshots of all of them.

So if there are no traders, how can the members be watching them trading live? Interesting don't you think that the new trader is not mentioned with his/her credentials. If you were a successful trader, why wouldn't the company would be bragging all about this trader (providing credentials, success stories, etc., etc.)?

Oh and their address...it is just an apartment building in the lower Bronx, New York (I think it is the lower Bronx area) but Isis is in Apt 10K and Christopher is in Apt 24E, which is the address listed for IML: 506 W. 43rd St, Ste 24E, New York, NY.
