We'll see, but I'm willing to bet that unless they start messing with the credit cards and opening their payment system or start accepting checks as a deposit method, the feds aren't going to do a thing. I've seen too many people in the industry to get away with murder to believe otherwise.

It's BECAUSE they came out of the HYIP forums and targeted the general population they were able to accrue the fifty million or whatever amount they claim to have tied up in Paypal.

THAT is what is going to bring them undone.

Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) are compulsorily filed under the Bank SECRECY Act.

Paypal cannot reveal to anyone the fact SARs have been filed and FinCEN never reveals its' investigations, neither does the FFETF, of which FinCEN is an integral part.

If Scoville wants to gamble on the fact none of the relevant agencies are aware of the Traffic Monsoon $50+ million fraud, that Paypal hasn't filed multiple Suspicious Activity Reports or that no immediate action means no action at all, then good luck to them.

Bowdoin and Burks made the same gamble and ignored the obvious signs and we all know what happened to them.

They are aware alright, which part of "they don't care until it affects them" is so difficult to comprehend? It's not a matter of national security. Not yet. Paypal can file all it wants, the fact that they let a known fraudster open an yet another account and accumulate 50 million in it speaks for itself.

Once again, we (and Scoville) have no idea when SARs were filed, if Paypal were told or requested to allow the TM account to remain open or how far progressed any investigation has progressed.

Closer reading of evidence given during proceedings against recent ponzi cases shows investigators were made aware of ASD, Zeek, CEP. Legisi etc MONTHS before they moved, and, when they DID finally move, they came armed with exact details of accounts, amounts and fund movement.

Information which can only have come from within the MSB involved.

Anyone who starts a multi million dollar fraudulent scheme within the USA who imagines for one second they are "getting away with it" because of having a bank, Paypal or any MSB account has rocks in their head.

The whole point of the Bank SECRECY Act is to lull offenders into a false sense of security.

Having a Paypal account to a ponzi operator is the Holy Grail, In that it gives credibility to his / her scheme.

Having a Paypal account is a guarantee the account will be frozen, if said scheme lasts more than a short time.

Having a Paypal account if the scheme turns over millions of dollars is a guarantee the money is frozen AND handed over to someone ponzi players don't want to be involved with AND somebody is going to get prosecuted.

The money is moving, slowly but surely, from Paypal into a private bank account in Dubai. If they are going to anything, they better hurry up before it's all there and out of their jurisdiction.
