Actually I thought of the ball gag, but that seemed too harsh.

Never mind his mouth.
A nice, new pair of boxing gloves would fix the problem

If I understand Islam correctly, Charles has a much bigger problem than the SEC action against him. If true, a Muslim can kill a Muslim who renounces Islam and coverts to Christianity.

That is how I understand things as well. Why it doesn't count as the sin of murder, though, I have no idea.

It is not murder under Sharia Law, and would only apply to those Islamic countries where Sharia Law is the law of the land.
If Charles tried to convert a Muslim, this would also apply under Sharia Law. So when he urged Mulsims to convert to Christianity, under Sharia Law he broke the law and the punishment is death. I don't think that Charles is going to get much use out of his Dubai resident Visa, do you?

Not a bad effort, but he's left out one important element:
Let's see if I can fix it for him

Re: Traffic monsoon. Better than MAPS with trusted admin Charles Scoville
Okay, I've seen once too many times "Charles had enough money to pay everyone what they were owed when the SEC shut them down. That might even be true. BUt then he didn't have enough money to EVER pay anyone another dime. If you were ahead when he has paid out all the money you do win, but if you got less than half your "ad purchase" back, you were double screwed because you weren't getting anymore profit sharing, what you really care about, and you weren't going to get your useless ads seen either, because there was noone surfing for free no money to pay other exchanges to run them.
The maths of exponential growth suggests that 88% of the adpacks, however distributed, were in net loss positions if frozen at any given moment, or worse. The highest a ponzi scheme gets is 12% of the positions (not participants, but the number of positions, which fall disproportionately to the early buyers...them's just the mahs, kids)
Let him start back up, disgorge all he had back to the members who only accept it under the condition that that is all they're owed and all they're ever getting. Their current positions have officially topped out and all that left is you have to surf everyday or your ads you bought are never going to get seen. You can buy more adpacks, but everyday Charles has to decide hwo much profit sharing he's going to pay out that day and that's all he can ever pay out from what he received that day or to adpacks bought that day. He can even keep some for himself for profits but he can never ever ever use any money he got that day to pay profit sharing another day. Obviously, he cannot pay out more than he took in and thus it would even be legal and would never run out of money to pay, but it wouldn't matter because it also means that no one will get paid out more than they paid it, he'll have phuckall for customers, because it isn't a very good way to actually sell advertising.
I don't think the faithful, the idiots or even Charles' mum is gonna like that settlement. I know Charles will hate it because he doesn't get to keep a dime.
BUt he has the money to pay everyone what they are owed, on the day it was frozen.

I’m sure there’s a well circulated excerpt from one of the interviews where Charlie is asked about paying out in full, and he responds “no, that would be impossible”

Criminal charges come after civil trial.
But criminal charges are developed alongside the preparation and presentation of civil proceedings, and we haven't seen any evidence of a criminal investigation alongside the SEC case. I give it at best a 50% shot he ever sets in front of a jury in a criminal case. DOJ isn't real interested in them in Utah, they'll lost there too many times.
I hope he does, and I'm keeping popcorn ready in case I'm wrong, but I don't see it right now.

I think there is, but the question is paying out in full, as in paying $55 dollars per adpack, and he says its not possible....and then sits there like the guy asking is the idiot in the room.
