2. I don't know what they made and none of them ever tried to recruit. Most of them were women who would sell make up or health products etc to friends and family. Some seemed to do pretty well though.

'Seem' to do pretty well is part of the ruse in MLM. This assumption, one made by many so it's not just you, helps keep these things rolling. "Fake it till you make it" - They never do unless on the sly.

My mistake. I thought you meant you were previously in an MLM opportunity. Then, I wanted to know about your retail sales when in it, and continued use of the product when out.

Were you referring to a network marketing opportunity? If so, MLM as we know it today is not sustainable without recruiting. That's why they do what they do - focus on recruitment. Capping endless chain recruitment, limiting territories, and requiring non-affiliate sales will give you that sustainable model, but then it wouldn't be MLM.

I don't mean to single you out as your attitude is very common - and the reason these scammers continue to prosper.

Can somebody please help explain this? Did Charles start TM in 2002 and then abandon it? Or did somebody else start TM and Charles took it over? Or something else...?

Looking at that and a quick check of the past records, it seems that up to 2005 the website was an affiliate of addme.com. The record seems to indicate that the ownership lapsed from 2006 through 2013, with no operative site under that name nor an owner.

Hey char! The more I'm looking into things the less comfortable I feel about having been involved in them. As for sales I've never done mlm before but have done pepper sales jobs. When I said if it was sustainable what I mean is that if they had a sustainable RevShare or mlm model where no one lost their money.
