As I see it there are four primary ways man can help man.

1. Do something for them they couldn't otherwise do for themselves.
2. Give time/ money to a cause that has demonstrated it genuinely helps.
3. Impart your knowledge, experiences, and takeaways so those that come after have a chance not to make the same mistakes.
4. Pretend to share $600,000,000 you don't have. Buy a flat in London, lease a few cars, pay for a wedding/divorce and $500,000 in world travel with money obtained based on a series of lies.

The film "300" seems especially popular. While this was an innovative film, in the way it was shot, it was still a film. And the people who use it seem to forget what really happened. What actually happened is quite relevant for schemes like TM (and others).

So, a message to all those who are thinking of using "300" as motivational woo in future:-

**A small Spartan army did indeed hold back a much larger invading force.
**They did so at a place called Thermopylae, which means "the hot gates".
**There were about 300 Spartan soldiers and they held the invaders back for 3 days. This allowed the rest of the Greek states time to organise themselves. (In those days Greece was not a united country, but a group of city states, Sparta being one.)
** In the end, every Spartan soldier was killed, including their king, Leonidas.

The whole point was, they stood up heroically but in the end they lost. Comparing your scheme to the Spartans sends out the message that you might stand up for a bit, but in the end you'll lose! Quite fitting when you think about it.

Right, history lesson over! Don't embarass yourselves in future, chaps!

without more info, this guy did this through some independent organizer. Could have been himself.

Well, Sunil has stepped in it. He was bragging about his upcoming TEDx Talk on 11/1 and people weren't buying it. So he said he would bet anyone $10K he was a scheduled speaker and gave the number of his solicitor to call to make the bet. So his solicitor was called, or at least they tried to call but it was not a working number. Then Jon Walsh posted a communique from the TEDx Talk organizer said Sunil was not registered to speak at any TEDx Talk in the London area for the entire month of November, but not only not scheduled to speak, but there is no way they would allow him to speak. Ouch!

I'm sure Sunil just made a typo when providing his solicitor's phone number. But what is truly funny is that Sunil has disabled comments on his braggadocios bet. I just love it when these pompous Ponzi pimps display for all to see their stupidity and lies. Any bets he doesn't make it to Utah on 11/1?

That is about the best news that I have heard this week Eagle. If he was female we could say that she has got her knickers in a twist. Sunil has got a lot in a twist and I would love to see him minus something but not his trousers!
