    Another dead.dying MLM - Bellamora

MLM Watchdog, Rod Cook, is reporting:

BELLAMORA A SHOCK TO ROD COOK
    22 APRIL 2011 - No contacts no information……………

Talk about a well planned and executed pre-launch! 52,000 signups and samples! Then the MLM staff left and chaos seems to be normal. I was not contacted for advice about any of these changes and courses of action the company has taken. I have not consulted with Dr. Miller or the financial backers BEFORE OR AFTER the marketing arm left. In fact the most information that I have gotten has been from this Scam.com thread. I am sick and mad about what has occurred. Plus my wife Marcie never received her order (she loved the product).
    MLM BELLAMORA CRASH

    Disgruntled former reps are asking:

    Product never received?

    - No answer or return phone call from customer service?

    - Website not working?

    - Leads and contact management system disappeared?

    - Commission checks not delivered?

    - Product caused a rash or breakout?

    - Product was empty or leaked when received?

    - Autoship over a month behind?
and are suggesting a class action against the company:

As I mentioned earlier, I am collecting the names of people that are interested in a class action lawsuit. Please email me your contact info and your experience with Bellamora. I already have 60 people confirmed and willing to testify and move forward that want to be included in a lawsuit....... I am sure that can work, but I am hoping to get another 90 for a total of 150. Just send an email to: bellamoraclassaction@yahoo.com
I know I am not the only one that is owed product and money……… It is time to do the right thing and come together. We have listened to Dr Miller and his BS long enough.
There is even a thread on the home of MLM apologists, MLM.com declaring Farewell to Bellamora
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing

I already took the liberty of inviting bellamoreclassaction here a few days ago. Sadly, once again many folks have been hurt. That nut Rod Cook discusses Bellamora in the following video:

Many of my friends have been victimized by multi-level marketing (MLM) schemes, and I might have been were it not for the knowledge I’ve gained from the web site of Dr. Jon M. Taylor of Consumer Awareness Institute. I implore you to read his reports, and especially his new eBook which can be downloaded free of charge from his web site at The truth about MLM, or multi-level marketing, based on solid research and world-wide feedback.

The Case for and against Multi-level Marketing is a summary of research and reporting by top independent analysts. Dr. Taylor presents compelling evidence that tens of millions of MLM victims lose a total of tens of billions of dollars every year.

I believe it’s essential to get this information out to consumers, since law enforcement is essentially asleep on this issue. For example, the Federal Trade Commission, the nation’s consumer watchdog, is yielding to the Direct Selling Association, the chief MLM lobbyist, to exempt MLM companies from having to disclose information to prospects that would help them make an informed decision about participating.

Consumer advocates, media reporters, and law enforcement agencies have long wrestled with questions about the legitimacy of network or multi-level marketing (MLM). Common questions include: Does anyone actually profit from these schemes, and if so, whom? Are MLM companies (MLMs) legal, or are they skirting the law in most cases? Are MLM products – often “pills, potions, and lotions” – overpriced and merely a front for investing in a disguised pyramid scheme? And are some MLMs more legitimate than others?

Fortunately, the misinformation promoted aggressively by the DSA and the MLM industry is being counteracted by consumer advocates who have founded non-profit organizations to do independent research and to provide guidance to assist consumers in making informed decisions about MLM participation. A leading consumer advocate in this field is Dr. Jon Taylor, whose research is based on analyses of over 350 MLMs and 15 years of worldwide feedback to his Consumer Awareness Institute. Dr. Taylor has just completed a new e-book summarizing thousands of pages of research and reporting by independent analysts and research firms. The book The Case for and against Multi-level Marketing – and numerous reports to guide consumers, attorneys, and educators can be downloaded free of charge from his web site The truth about MLM, or multi-level marketing, based on solid research and world-wide feedback

    Sincerely,

    James Davison
