Mark Hamilton, Kevin Trudeau, and Multi-level Marketing

For years, I have received strange letters in the mail from a company that calls itself "The Secret Society" and "Neo-Tech Publishing." The company is owned by a person who calls himself "Mark Hamilton." (More on him later.)

The letters are written (or at least partially written) by Kevin Trudeau. In the letter, Kevin says that he knows about a book that contains powerful secrets that made him very wealthy, happy, and helped him lose weight. Here's exactly what Kevin said in the letter:

    ____________________________

"What I discovered put me into a state of shock and horror. I had unearthed the most closely guarded secret in history, the same secret that every wealthy person used throughout history. I now had in my hands the raw secret that could make anyone rich, powerful, successful, and in control.

PLUS . . . the secret ingredient that could make women fall in love with me, and give me power and control over virtually ANYONE, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE!

I HAD IN MY HANDS THE MOST IMPORTANT MONEY, POWER, ROMANTIC-LOVE DISCOVERY OF ALL TIME!!

Immediately I began to apply my new knowledge. Virtually everything I touched turned to gold! Within a year I was a millionaire. I lost 40 pounds. My health and energy level improved dramatically. My romantic love relationships became incredible. I became happy and feeling totally free. ALL OF MY DREAMS STARTED TO COME TRUE! It was awesome!"

    ______________________________

Then, somebody else named "John" tells me that they will rush me my "package of inside secrets" for free. John says that I'll "learn how to use this new scientific knowledge to begin generating huge sums of money with hours . . . AUTOMATICALLY . . WITHOUT EVEN TRYING." He also claims that my "new powers" will "render all others helpless." I will learn how to "control anyone, man or woman, anywhere." All I have to do is ask for my free, 56-page book, and I will be able to do all of these things.

After I was done rolling my eyes, I finally decided to send for the 56-page "Greatest Kept Secret of all Time" book. Not because I had any intention of buying anything from this company. I just wanted to see what else they had to say so I could keep laughing and have a little fun. Plus, it was free.

They didn't disappoint me. It was very funny.

The 56-page book that I received was actually 14 pieces of paper that were folded and stapled together. (My my, how impressive. LOL.) So, each piece of paper consisted of 4 pages of "secrets" that were supposed to make me wealthy, happy, more intelligent, and powerful. I know they say, "Don't judge a book by its cover," but my gosh . . . this book was so cheap.

Anyway, there were never any secrets contained in this small "book." The book just contained more ridiculous stories from people telling me how these secrets made them wealthy, happy and skinny. (They were lies, but it was entertaining.)

For example, a lady named "Katie" said she lost 30 pounds "virtually overnight." (How does somebody do that? Did Mark Hamilton perform liposuction on her?)

Somebody else named "Jennifer" said that I could "learn how to use this scientific knowledge to begin generating huge sums of money within hours ... AUTOMATICALLY ... WITHOUT EVEN TRYING." She also said I could "learn how to control anyone, man or woman, anywhere." (Wait a minute. That's exactly what John said to me in the other letters. Why did his name change to Jennifer? Is John a transvestite?)

Another person named "Sean" said that he was in the park one day, and he found a manuscript from the Secret Society under the bench where he was sitting. (What luck!) Within 3 weeks, he was successful at work, his old "almost forgotten" investments soared in value, and he even won the lottery. And today, he lives in a 13,000-square-foot mansion worth millions of dollars. In addition, his wife . . . and I quote . . . "got pregnant with the third child we wanted but seemed unable to conceive." (Really? How did a book make a woman pregnant? Did it contain a vial of magic semen?)

And somebody else named "Anonymous" said that he did some "illegal things with credit cards" a long time ago and went to prison. In the prison library, he discovered the Secret Society's most highly-guarded secret. He read the book, used the secret, and one minute later the Warden told him that he would be leaving the prison within 3 days. (It's a good thing the other prisoners didn't read the book, or the whole prison would have been empty.) Within 12 months, he had deposited $20 million dollars in his business account. Plus, he wrote a best selling book and has appeared on TV many times. (Gee, how weird that Mr. Anonymous sounds just like Kevin. What a coincidence!)

Clearly, this little booklet of secrets is worthless. But I knew that it would be. No secret? How do they explain this? Inside the book it said:

    ______________________________

"When you discover the secret meaning within the following five true stories about money and love, you will discover the most incredible, almost indescribable, personal skills and talents and will become wealthy and unforgettable.

If you do not discover the secret meaning within these 56 pages, you will still absorb that secret meaning while reading the five stories. As a consequence, three very major good things, prompted by your subconscious, will happen to you within two weeks involving money, love, and the unleashing of astounding powers to you."

    ______________________________

Um . . . okay. Whatever that means.

I was then asked to send a payment of $135.50 plus $4.45 shipping and handling (total: $139.95) to "The Secret Society" so that I could receive a 1200-page book (obviously filled with more nonsense).

I never did purchase the book. In the months that followed, I kept getting letters from Mark's "Secret Society," begging me to send them money. It was pathetic. It seems like Mark is very desperate for money.

Which leads me to ask the question: If Mark Hamilton knows a powerful secret that can generate huge amounts of money, then why doesn't he just use the secret himself? Why does he keep asking me for money?

Good heavens . . . get a life, Mark, and leave me alone.

If you want further proof that this book is worthless, all you need to do is look at Kevin's personal life. Although Kevin claims that this secret will let you control "virtually ANYONE, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE," it's obvious that his powers didn't work on a jury that found him guilty of criminal contempt.

I suppose that once people do buy this book, they are exposed to Mark Hamilton's multi-level marketing program. (Yes, Mark promotes MLM. Shocker!) I don't know if Kevin is involved in Mark's MLM program, but I wouldn't be surprised if he gets some kind of commission or reward for pulling unsuspecting people into all of this. Just exactly how did these two men get to know each other, anyway? I have no idea, but I am reminded of this old saying: "Birds of a feather, flock together."

So, if anybody else here gets letters from Kevin Trudeau or Mark Hamilton, just take them to the nearest shredder and get rid of them. Don't buy anything from these two men. Reason: Kevin is a convicted con man who has a history of lying, and Mark just wants to get you involved in his latest multi-level marketing scheme.

If you think all of this was funny, you should have read what GIN (Global Information Network) promised that KT was pitching that thousands of people paid thousands and tens of thousands of dollars to join. Now those promises were over the top compared to The Secret Society. By the way, Mark Hamilton is just KT's alter ego. Sadly millions of people bought the hype of both programs and ended up on the short end of the stick with KT the only one making millions.

You do know that KT is in jail now don't you? Yep, stiffed the FTC on a $37 Million fine and he now sits in prison where he belongs.

Well, you know the Neo-Tech Manual is a "highly guarded" manual, which apparently means it can only be found by using a supersimple search on Google:

    Part one:
    https://www.google.com/search?num=10...96.i8XvHf5oR-k

    Other stuff:

    https://www.google.com/search?num=10....0.eEye_DPuqkg

Remember though, this NeoThink stuff is Forbidden! - as can be seen in this document easily found in a Google search:

Other than Abrar, none of these folks make much sense to moi. How does one push say a diet book telling people they can eat WHATEVER they want. Then when they BUY the book, 500 calories per day. Are all these folks millionaires thanks to GIN, or playing Baccarat in the high limit area with James Bond????

I would totally understand it if what he was selling was remotely true, where do these people come from, and why do they keep coming?

If I was responding to Kevin's BS above, the first thing I would have asked is: "If you were so successful, why did you have to live with all these people?"

But welcome to the wonderful world of the GIN and Neo-Tech cults.

He's 2 years younger than me and I was a kid in the 70s. How was he "in training"?

    Well, look what I found.

More useless, time-wasting nonsense from Mark Hamilton.

Here we have Mark, in his own words, telling people that they'll become wealthy by participating in his MLM scheme:

    WebCite query result

    ______________________________

"I am working on a direct-mail program that could conceivably bring in up to a hundred-thousand members per year. To help make you wealthy doing this, I will feed them into the down lines of those truly integrating and coordinating and participating in the whole Intro Meetings / Workshop Meetings / Clubhouse Meetings. In short, those building the MLM and the formal structure of the Society of Secrets will get wealthy with my help."

    ______________________________

Personally, I would avoid anybody who tells me that MLM will make me wealthy. Especially somebody like Mark. There's just something really creepy about him.

And if you want to know the truth about the harmful, wealth-destroying effects of MLM, please check out the thread below:

Re: Mark Hamilton, Kevin Trudeau, and Multi-level Marketing

I received yet another letter from Neo-Tech in my mailbox today. But this one is a little bit different. Two things that I noticed:

1.) Neo-Tech is now calling itself the Inperiosus Society.

    The current address is:

    Invitation Processing
    P.O. Box 560627
    Dallas, TX 75356-0627

2.) Kevin's name is no longer mentioned in the letter.

I don't know if Kevin is still a spokesman for the company, since he's now in prison. The person who sent me this letter called himself "Anonymous."

And here's what the company said concerning their new weird name:

    _________________________

"Inperiosus is an ultra-secret organization, a fraternity of the mega-rich and famous.

In Latin, Inperiosus means 'imperial,' 'lordly,' and 'magisterial.' We are all this and more. Quite simply, we are the most powerful organization in the history of the world."

    _________________________

Different name, same nonsense. Neo-Tech pretending to be the "most powerful organization" in the world is about as ridiculous as Trey White pretending to be a multi-billionaire.

Re: Mark Hamilton, Kevin Trudeau, and Multi-level Marketing

I'm going to guess that Mark Hamilton is not too proud of the below average rating his company has with the BBB.

Neo Tech Publishing Company Business Review in Henderson, NV - Southern Nevada BBB

Factors that lowered Neo Tech Publishing Company's rating include:

    24 complaints filed against business
Failure to respond to one complaint filed against business.
