Free Food 2 Go / Freefood2go - Do we have yet another food scam touting for business

What appears to be the latest in online food scams has just popped up on Facebook, Apsense and all the usual ponzi forums. it calls itself Freefood2Go.

They claim that its product has been developed by one Roger Young who they claim is a Food Storage expert of 21 years standing.

However whatever the product, the red flags are out. It is a 4 x 7 matrix and is being promoted by all the usual cast of ponzi promoters on all the usual ponzi boards, MMG, TG etc by David Reid (of cashgifting and efoods direct fame) and strosdegoz / Dirson Eduardo Jimenez Santana / manolo amongst others.

    FREE FOOD 2 GO

Food scams have my vote as being the lowest of the low as they always hit the most needy - does MPB Today sound familiar? lol

Comments from the mathematically inclined are most welcomed. A warning to all the innocents who will fall for this, needs to be in place somewhere. Real Scam seems like the best place to start.

Don't know about the mathematically inclined part, but here is some info:
The P.O. box with no physical addy is a red flag.
The phone listed comes back to Roger Young, Rigby, ID and Lorrie Espinoza, Rupert, ID.
Here is the ID SOS file onFree Food2Go
    Type of Business:

    LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY

Status: EXISTING, EXISTING 12 Jan 2011

    State of Origin:IDAHO

    Date of Origination/Authorization: 12 Jan 2011

    Current Registered Agent:
    ROGER YOUNG
    3511 E 665 N
    MENAN, ID 83434

    File Number: W99440
This is more visible than most scams, but I wouldn't rush out and throw money at them, they need to answer some tough questions.
The curious thing is that if you accept that Young has 21 years in food storage, when did he do all the other marvelous things claimed in his bio...?

Looks as if the Bible thumpers aren't so happy with him either!

LDS Freedom Forum - View topic - Roger K. Young launches new food storage business

They have correctly diagnosed it as an MLM and are dubious. They also say that Roger K. Young is in fact only a member and not the owner. Not sure where that came from.

Either way red flags are flying

Well lets not get hasty. Of course all the usual suspects wil get involved. I joined up for $4.00 and ordered some food. so we shall see if it is as advertised. As far as a ponzi well there is product. I have been in efoods global since last October and love the food. I used to be a MLM nut but not anymmore. not since PRSI. LOL... I got into efoods for the food as I had bought food from efoods direct and actually mentioned to them that I wanted become some sort of affilitate as the food is that good. Storable food usually is not that good, re MRE's etc... But efodds is really good. So I will get back to you if and when I get my order from food 2 go in the next week or so. Not much on the recruiting etc anymore as I hate losing friends, but if the food is good and relatively cheap then I'm ok with that.

    As an aside:

"My Harvest America" which was one of the first of the current flock of food related fake MLMs has just undergone yet another change in its' "business structure"

After dropping home delivered food from its' product range and shifting to offering bank and store gift cards, it is now no longer selling gift cards, but, instead is in the business of flogging "smart sleeves" to protect the new generation of microchipped credit cards.

MHA members are now required to purchase 100 sleeves for $250 monthly to either sell or give away. This then qualifies the member to receive a "free" $300 generic bank gift card once a month.

I think it is safe to say MHA now qualifies as another MLM food scam which has bitten the dust.

    Boy, is this confusing.

First off, the "usual suspects" are known low life scam artists. So you believe joining any organization run by these guys is going to be a good thing?

As far as a ponzi, there is a product. So what? Thousands of ponzis have a product, but that is not where you make any money (selling any product) it's in the recruiting of the gullible into the scheme. Look at the comp plan.

Do you live in some outlying village in Northern Alaska where you would actually have the need for this type of food?

Have you looked at the labeling and the types of preservatives and their quantities used in this "food"? The real nutritional value?

Does using the word "Free" in the titile of this scam not send off alarm bells to you? NOTHING in these scams is ever free.

Who actually manufactures and produces this food, btw?

As for E-foods---check out this bullshit video eFoods Global - Saving Families One Meal At A Time .....Come on folks.....fear tactics, mansions, fancy cars, "food is more valuable than gold or cash"....okey dokey...and more fear tactics. Are you serious? "Accepting member applications". Oh please, if I filled out an ap for my dog, they would accept him and sign him up immediately as long as I paid for him!

BTW, there is a scam website called “Storable Food Watch”. The site is oriented around the pretense that it fairly represents the ratings of various storable food companies. But it’s really a site designed to promote its owner, which is EFoods Direct, who apparently dreamt up and invented their own ratings of their competitors. ROTFL!

Storable Food Watch - Fighting for Truth, Justice and the American Way

Ya just can't make this crap up. lol Too funny. When will people wake up and see daylight?

Hmmn, who to believe, who to believe ????

A company peddling fear, greed, fear, uncertainty, fear, doom and gloom

Oh, and did I mention "fear" ???

or should we listen to Warren Buffett, one of the worlds' richest men, who this week said:

"Commentators today often talk of great uncertainty.
Don't let that reality spook you.
Throughout my lifetime, politicians and pundits have constantly moaned about terrifying problems facing America.
Yet our citizens now live an astonishing six times better than when I was born."
    What a conundrum.

    NOT !!!

Re: Free Food 2 Go / Freefood2go - Do we have yet another food scam touting for busi

I have known of Mr. Young off and on for 15 years. In his spare time he lectured on food storage, preparation, and last days stuff while doing other work. I have been to a couple of his seminars in years past. Pretty good stuff...and right on the money.

ON this food storage company Well, I have tasted their food and it's really good. They advertise that it is the lowest priced, and I can't touch their prices in any store or by any other company and I have checked. Compared to efoods global... it's half the price. If that's a scam to provide low cost food storage to people that actually tastes good----count me in.. As far as a scam, it costs $4 to join the company. No minimums to buy & no auto ship. Yeah, right. What a huge money making scam.

Well I joined for $4.00. I am also helping promote this and Yes on FB. I think it is a great cause. We should stock up on food to be prepared for emergencies of all kinds.
This business is also in Pre-launch and will not be fully ready for another month. NO, I do not believe this is a scam. I believe this is a guy trying to help people and sure, make a buck for himself and help others in the process. What does anyone have to lose...$4.00? Yes you can also buy food supplies, although they have an option to get a small "Free" food pack for the cost of shipping $6.95, so you can see what it tastes like. They need to get a certain order amount before they can ship...before the manufacture will produce. So if your looking at this, Please look at all of it and read all that the website has to offer. I already ordered my supplies, I am confident they are on the way. [self promotion removed by Admin]

You will likely get your food, at least as long as you paid the shipping and handling charges on it. This is just one more of the scare-em food scams.

If you check out the top left hand corner of the site, eharvey, you'll see:

Note the bottom line which says "Is it or isn't it? You decide"

    And you've decided.

I don't know anyone here whose mission is to save the world, and I certainly don't have a big "S" emblazoned on my chest or wear my underpants on the outside of my tights.

So, WRT freefood2go, we shall see what we shall see.

Thanks WT for posting this. I just came over here to post it or find out something about it. Yes, a friend of mine in FB sent me a message trying to leer me in but I said no thanks. Told her it was probably a scam of which she is screaming that it is not!! Okay, fine, I have seen this person fall for several of these deals trying to get rid of her day job for the past 4 years. Unless she is on disability, she still has a day job. I think in the very near future we will see that it is just another popup from MBP and MHA.

I am with you, if it says FREE, look out!!

I posted this yesterday in Adland from ER, Warning about MBP. I liked the response I got, at least some people have learned the real truth.

    QUOTE (strosdegoz @ Apr 13 2011, 01:16 PM) *
    SHIPPING-MERGE UPDATE NEWS....

    1. 5 TONS OF PRODUCT GOING OUT THE DOOR THIS WEEK---Finally, our very own new shipping/office has been setup, and we have received the packaging, product, etc. and we are shipping over 5 tons of product out this week, including Basic Packs, Taster Party 10 Packs, and of course more Free Sample Packs. (over 6000 units) It will take us the whole week.

    2. Next week we will be shipping out the Seychelle Water Bottles, and be getting ready to ship out the Family Starter Packs, followed by the Super Basics Packs 1 & 2.

    3. 24 HOUR SHIPPING. After this, we will be able to ship products within 24-48 hours!!! HOORAY. It is so nice being in our own facility.

    3. FREE SAMPLE SHIPPING PROBLEM: Though the vast majority of people have received their Free Sample orders...we were concerned that many had still not received their Free Sample packs. The problem we found out yesterday.... is that the US post office is throwing away a lot of our Free Sample packages...perhaps as much as 5%-10%.

As I was talking to our local post office person, who I know personally, she informed me that they had a lot of packages that had been returned and were sitting in the back and she wanted to know what to do with them. Did I want them? I said, of course. She then said that it would cost me $4.90 per package to get them back. I was flabbergasted. I asked to see why they were being returned. She showed me one of the packages. It had been handled so rough, that the label had been partially ripped and the address was unreadable. Others were deemed undeliverable for one reason or another (no such address, etc.), She also informed me that because these were bulk mailed, that they were not handled well.

And so, here were a couple of hundred packages that we paid good money to be delivered, and for some reason were not delivered. And in order to get them back we have to pay again. It would be cheaper for us to just send them out again...using a different shipping system. With all of the problems with the Free Sample Pack and the USPS...we are re-evaluating it and changes will be made in the near future. HOWEVER,.... IF anyone has ordered a sample pack prior to April 8, 2011 and has not received it yet... please send an email to: missing@freefood2go.com. We will then re-ship them.

    4. SYSTEMS MERGE ALMOST COMPLETE!! The old and new websites backoffice merge is almost complete and the debugging process should be completed within the next couple of days. Once everyone who should be an Associate, has been set to Associate...then we will start the auto-placement...which should then increase everyone's Free Food Credit earnings.

GOOD NEWS IS THAT IN A COUPLE OF MORE WEEKS... WE WILL HAVE THE WEBSITE UP AND RUNNING SMOOTHLY, A NEW SUPPORT CENTER AND SHIPPING CENTER THAT IS SHIPPING PRODUCTS IN 24-48 HOURS, A NEW WEBSITE DESIGN LOOK, OWNERS PROGRAM UP AND RUNNING, FREE FOOD CREDIT PRODUCTS BEING SHIPPED, 20 NEW PRODUCTS ONLINE... AND ESSENTIALLY BE GETTING READY TO MOVE FROM PRE-LAUNCH.... TO OFFICIAL LAUNCH.

    Thanks,

    Roger

PS see ya on the call tonight. We will be going over a lot of this tonight.

Re: Free Food 2 Go / Freefood2go - Do we have yet another food scam touting for busi

I'm directing this to the 2 persons affiliated with FF2G, or anyone else that may know the answer.

On the FF2G website, under their FAQ section:

Free Food 2 Go, LLC. - FAQ...FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

under Item 2, it is stated that "...our mixing/packaging facility which produces our exclusive SUNRISE HARVEST FOOD is one of the few in Utah that is FDA certified..."

Could you please post the name of this facility?

Also, the name "Sunrise Harvest Food" is not a registered trademark name, according to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. As a matter of fact, I could reserve and purchase it here in the U.S. for $159.00 I found out. Could you explain the discrepancy, please?

Finally, the Utah state government database of businesses returns nothing whatever for Free Food 2 Go under any combination of that name in my search. Could someone please offer any type of verifiable proof this is a registered business?

    Thank you,

    Jerry
