I have a friend who is concerned about his father-in-law partipating in a business opportunity called 5Linx. It seems to be some type of multi-level marketing company.
I've only started looking into it, but there are some red flags that have been discussed here before.
1. 5Linx has a site which calls itself 5Linx University:
5LINX University | School of Direct Selling
Calling something a University which isn't in a fact a University has been discussed
numerous times here. At this point I'm assuming that 5linx isn't actually a University.
This was just one of the issues with Trump University over the years:
Trump University Trump University was put on notice by the state Education Department
as far back as 2005 that it was not licensed to call itself a university and changed
its name to the Trump Entrepreneur Institute in 2010.

2. Using pictures of people with fancy cars to promote its success stories:

3. Pictures like this one.
OK, I'm not sure if that picture is a red flag or not, but it definitely made me laugh out loud.
