It's real simple. GPN is the only processor they can control as to who gets paid and when, and who doesn't get paid.

Our boy Simon appears to be stepping back from TAP.

His last posting (that I can find anyway) on his TAP Success FB page was 20th January. That's, what, 2 weeks ago? He has posted on his MAPs FB page on 1st Feb, but only to say he's going to be in Manchester city centre for a few hours, meeting people for coffee and a chat; but nothing specific about MAPs or TAP.

Course, if he's brewing up something else, that might be why. Be interesting to see if he appears at their special meeting in London tomorrow.

As for Our Tony and Lynne, well, the Great Communicator rarely communicates anything much these days.

Undoubtedly this will be just one of many such stories we will hear before Deese, Stepsys and the Booths are finished with their criminal activities.

No surprises from Septic Simon Stepsys.

He's nothing, if not entirely predictable.

Never mind, LRM, I don't suppose we are missing much. And his "TAP Success Group" FB page is still public (for now).

Just a bit of spring cleaning, I imagine.

Wonder if he will turn up to the London meeting tomorrow, or if he will fall ill tonight? I'd like to think that the net is closing on him, but we couldn't be so lucky.

seems no one is letting slimon in early on their scams that he has to go dig trash, failing ones out of the scam dumpster to push.

Yup. The newspaper articles calling him out have at least worked in that capacity...

Besides the huge ℅ who won't dick w anything he is a "leader" in...(anyone w 1/2 a brain knows when Shitbird Simon is a leader=most get dick all), he takes months of the scam by the hate he brings.

Re: Is My Advertising Pays / The Advert Platform A Scam or Ponzi?

I'm rumbling through the banners broker scan thread and thought I'd post this gem from Della back in the day:

    aaaand this one:

Helpfully, it also provides Simon S's address at the time.

And here is a cut n paste copy - I have bolded some bits I find especially significant:-

    No 18/99

    COURT HALTS MISLEADING HOMEWORKING ADS

The High Court today stopped a Cheshire trader from advertising homeworking schemes containing false promises of earnings.

An interim order was granted to John Bridgeman, Director General of Fair Trading, against Simon Stepsys, trading as Win-Star Direct (formerly PressWise Marketing) of Nantwich. Mr Stepsys agreed in advance to today''s order being made and was not represented in Court.

Mr Stepsys continued to promote and operate a number of homeworking schemes despite giving undertakings to the Director General, in August last year, that he would stop the publication and dissemination of misleading advertisements. Today''s injunction restrains Mr Stepsys from making false or misleading claims regarding working from home schemes and on winning the pools and betting on horse racing.

John Bridgeman said: ''This is not the first time that Mr Stepsys'' unsatisfactory advertising methods have come to the attention of my Office. His record to date shows a wilful disregard for the advertising standards imposed by the law and by the Advertising Standards Authority as well as for Cheshire''s Trading Standards Department.

''Consumers should be very wary of paying in advance for "easy money" home working schemes. Under a genuine scheme you should expect to earn money rather than pay it out. Mr Stepsys''s schemes preyed on the vulnerable. Anyone who suspects such a scheme should report it to their local trading standards officer and help to expose the scam and save others from being caught out.''

The advertisements, which appeared in national and regional newspapers and classified-ads magazines, encouraged consumers to send for details which made claims for the best paid homework plans ever'' but omitted essential information about what the work involved, the availability of the work, and gave a misleading impression of the earnings potential.

The schemes required consumers to register by paying a fee of #20 - #25 to work from home and promising high earnings which failed to materialise. Rewards offered included: Earn Thousands of Pounds Weekly With No Investment Whatsoever!'' - Earn Up To #400 A Night'' and even Unlimited Earnings''.

Most complaints concerned two particular schemes: Homework & Moneymakers'', which claimed earnings of make #19,500 plus in 3 months, and Earn #100 per hundred'', which claimed that by sending us addressed envelopes you can earn all the extra money you need daily by working from home in your spare time.'' These claims could not be substantiated.

    NOTES

1 Mr Simon Stepsys has been operating from 96 Welch Row, Nantwich, Cheshire.

2 The Control of Misleading Advertisements Regulations 1988 gives the Director General of Fair Trading the power to apply to the Court for an injunction when he has received a complaint about an advertisement which he considers misleading. Such an injunction may apply to any person appearing to be concerned with the publication of the advertisement.

3 An advertisement is defined, for the purpose of the Regulations, as ''any form of representation which is made in connection with a trade, business, craft or profession in order to promote the supply or transfer of goods or services, immovable property, rights or obligations''. The Regulations apply if an advertisement ''deceives or is likely to deceive the persons to whom it is addressed or whom it reaches and if, by reason of its deceptive nature, it is likely to affect their economic behaviour, or for those reasons, injures or is likely to injure a competitor of the person whose interests the advertisement seeks to promote''.The OFT publishes a wide range of consumer leaflets which are available free from: OFT, PO Box 366, Hayes UB3 1XB # = pounds sterling

You know you're in trouble when even people like Ann Hardman think there's something strange going on......

And it looks like the event today has been cancelled and not just deferred to another date. Dear me! What a shame!

Just hope some infuriated Mappers and Tappers turn up too, to ask him some pointed questions!
