This is the most recent MAPS update on their site.

After running scared from the US "market" (authorities more like) as with a lot of these scams around this stage it's time now to start focusing on the future.
Forget about what's happening right now guys think of the exciting times ahead with MAP 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 etc etc...

No one on MMG is that stupid. They just don't care that their winnings come from loses of others. They are not scammers, they are illegal gamblers. Scamming is bit more involved than gambling.

No sympathy with any of them then, if thats their game plan they are all as bad as one another.

They are not asking for sympathy. They are mostly asking to be left alone to their game on their own forum. At least that was my impression from the conversations with them.

Yeah, so that 'scam busters' dont put people off putting money, so they dont lose out. Regards the sympathy, i meant when the scam(s) crash and they lose money.

That's what I meant as well. They don't want sympathy from the outsiders. They expect to lose some of the time, they just hope to come out ahead overall. The very first thing the other players teach you when you join MMG is to not gamble more than you can afford to lose.

I'm not defending their actions, by the way. Someone asked a question and I'm able to give a bit more in-depth answer than you will usually get. You are welcome.

ProfHenryHiggins corrected me on the same point in another thread. Evidently, there is one MMG member trying to push a cosmetics MLM on MMG. It's overpriced junk, but it could be legal.

Most though are matrix/ponzi schemes though. I like to read it there, some right good comments at defending these things!

Yes, that what MMG and TG are mainly for - to provide a space for ponzi players to discuss their experiences and to make money from ponzi ads. Some players move on to being ponzi admins - like the admin of the notorious P2P - but most eventually wake up and leave the game.
