And just like BB (and countless other, er, schemes) there are certain words that are forbidden. This has been posted on the Simon Stepsys MAPS FB page:-

What I find the most repulsive about Stepsys (and there are many things!) is the way he worships luxury brands, and pushes them as the ultimate goal for people who join his schemes. It's just so shallow!

It's all over his FB pages. The endless boasting. I can buy a Porsche. I have a Rolex watch (frightfuly common, actually darling, Tag Heur or Breitling are much classier). I travel first class. I go on important trips abroad. I stay in 5 star hotels. Whether he actually does these things or has these things is a debatable point. He boasts as if he has and does them, and sets them up as something to aspire to. Do people REALLY think they can be like him if they stick in his schemes long enough?

I think he probably does get money from his schemes, but only because he pushes them so much, and often appears to be the promoter in chief (and so I assume he gets other payments from the scheme for his "work"). How much is another point entirely. Does he declare his "income" to the tax man, or is it all cash in hand? Does he keep his money in a bank or under the mattress? Does he have another job somewhere (I assume not)?

If he is supposed to be a role model, then there really is no hope. If I was ever considering one of his schemes, the first time I saw him, I would walk out. As soon as you see him - the spivvy suit, no tie, cuffs undone, big watch, big tacky ring (not the BB one though!) - and hear him; you know exactly what he is.

No amount of boasting or quoting from "The Wolf of Wall Street" can ever hide it. Because when he has his "cheeky pints" and peddles his wares in hired hotel rooms to people desperate enough or stupid enough to think they can make a fortune just like Simon, he reveals his real self.

He's not even nice and amusing like Del Boy or Arthur Dailey (UK TV characters from the 1980's). He comes over to me as cheap and tacky and dodgy as hell.

I think so anyway. Rant over!

(PS: In the UK, a real gentleman would not boast of anything he has or does. Firstly, because it's just not done, and secondly, because to him these things are not exceptional and so do not need even speaking about. )

Here we go......down the BB route of what can be loosely described as "IT problems".

I'll second the rant. What's even sadder is Septic is presenting himself exactly the way network marketing wants you to - Amway in their jewels and long dresses led the way.

It's a disgusting, pitiful "business system" to be associated with. Everyone in it is a con man but some just don't realize it. Lol

These people forever seem to not understand how the law works.

If someone pays someone else for sex under the law it is prostitution, no matter what they "call" the transaction. If someone solicits funds for something that is legally speaking an investment as defined by the Howey Test then calling it "credit packs" means nothing. Scammers could flash secret grifter gang signs for all it matters, they are still soliciting funds for a quasi Pyramid/Ponzi Scheme.

No matter what nomenclature they choose, the adjective gone comes to mind for any money "invested".

Meanwhile, payment problems have started - apart from those with "older credit packs" (my translation: "they got in the scheme early")

The similarities to BB are startling.....waiting for the new scritp to be written/new version to come out.....being urged to "have faith" and "have patience". People should heed the warning signs!

re: Is My Advertising Pays / The Advert Platform A Scam or Ponzi?

Oh, the unintended irony! Found this picture over on the SS Maps Success Group FB page.

For anyone who does not know, this is a TV character called Del Boy from a UK comedy programme called "Only Fools and Horses", about the trials and tribulations of the Trotter family from London (Del Boy, his brother Rodney - Rodders - and first Grandad and then Uncle Albert). They started off as market traders, as people dealing from suitcases in the street, selling cheap and often knocked off gear with a dodgy background - such as fire damaged smoke alarms or leaking raincoats. The series was very popular - I still find it funny - but the characters, although slightly dodgy, were all affectionately played and clearly not real criminals. Del Boy's big saying was, "Once day, Rodney, we'll be millionaires!". And they did make it, through a very rare watch that they sold for several £million.

They did not make it through dodgy online schemes though.

But the irony of dear Richard Arblaster, comparing Mappers to a dodgy market dealer, does not escape me! Sure you quite meant this, Dickie?

if you have some money you want to get rid of and you never want to see it again, listen to Septic Simon Stepsys, send it to My Advertising Pays,

    BADDA BING, BADDA BOOM,

it will disappear, without even so much as a puff of smoke.

We should all be respectful when describing a man of Septic Simons' status, so, no jokes about what he is describing, please.

LOL Della, that reminded me of a classic clip from Glengarry Glen Ross. Simon is getting the caddy and everyone else if they are LUCKY gets second prize just to go away.

Seriously folks, how could you seriously think this is a Ponzi? Seriously when you have such great Internet Marketing guru's like Simon Stepsys, Richard Arblaster, and Ken Russo promoting this, seriously how could be questioning this seriously great program? Seriously these are some of the greatest Internet Marketing geniuses going, and seriously I can't believe you doubt them. Seriously their track record speaks for itself. Seriously anyone thinking of joining this should seriously have their head examined. Just in case my cyber-stalking groupie UncleFesta didn't catch it, I was being sarcastic. After all he takes everything I say so seriously, and is constantly telling me what I said was not what I said. Only his interpretation of what I said is what I said. Doubt me just ask him, seriously.

OK, had enough fun with Simon's use of the word "seriously." Just couldn't resist seriously.

Ah well, Simon, you've given serious evidence to the tax man of your earnings in your little video. $600k in your first 9 months eh?

The tax man does scour the internet and social media for any evidence of earnings that may not being declared. People think if they don't tell HMRC what they are doing, they will never find out. Er, yes, they will. I'm being serious here! Never heard the saying "There are only two certainties in life: Death and Taxes"?

But as a serious businessman, I am sure you are filling in your tax form every single year, aren't you? Unless of course your claim of $600k is all pie in the sky......

Meanwhile over on Simon S's MAPs FB Group - gosh, this is tedious - members are posting that they cannot get on the site and that the website might be down. Others are saying "it's all part of the changes". Changes? Oh, the new script/version 2/etc.

    YAWN.

(Some years ago, didn't Madonna have a song called "Sorry"? With the lines "I don't want to hear/I don't want to know/Heard it all before"? Could be a theme tune for this type of venture.)
