PLEASE STOP COMPARING MAPS WITH GOOGLE.

    IT'S EMBARRASING.

    Maps 260 Mar 15.jpg

But the MLM, Pyramid and Ponzi bit, well, you might be onto something there.....

And a "World Tour", Banners Broker did those too.....Dublin, Manchester, Trinidad.......until the receivers bankrupted it of course, and criminal investigations began!

Cracking post about Peter Lea above, LRM. OOh, someone has been telling fibs, IMHO!!

The internet, eh? Every contact leaves a trace. The only way to keep off the radar is not to put yourself out there.

Stalin used to rewrite history by cutting members of the Politburo out of photographs when they had fallen from favour. But he couldn't stop people from remembering. And he didn't have the internet to cope with either. So no matter how much Mappers and BBers and Zeeksters try to rewrite history, there is always something out there, or someone out there who knows.

    More technical issues.

Marja is having problems withdrawing, and cannot even send in a support ticket (as she says later in the comments list)

    HOW UNFORTUNATE.

    Maps 261 Mar 15.jpg

    How surprising.............NOT.

I would expect a lot more 'problems' to start showing up after Patrick's story here:

[Part 2]: ‘MyAdvertisingPays’ Scheme Referenced In TelexFree-Related Class-Action Complaint That Alleges Racketeering — A Zeek Tie, Too

I'm sure they already know their name is in that document and why 'problems' have started.

Looks like the 'link' between the telex-free scam and MAPS is:

    Daniil Shoyfer

Here he is on my database:

If that's the way the authorities conclude something is a scam, there are absolutely hundreds of BB promoters who
    are now involved in MAPS.

I read somewhere that touching your mouth and nose while speaking is, in body language, a sign of lying. But I am sure I misread that. No-one in MAPS would be economical with the truth, would they?

Be interesting to watch and see how often he touches his nose/mouth, and when. Just out of academic interest, of course.
I'm not too swift with the body language tells What is your body language saying? - CNN.com . Stickin with his lips are moving he's lying, he is rockin and rubbin he's thinking about his next lie.

He has given us enough to know he is full of shit. When Simon was first promoting this we were told Deese had 5000ish advertisers already lined up. Deese himself told us that he was not going to approach the advertisers until he had a base built up. That flub is HUGE.

Next of course is the 2% per day return BEFORE he even has his whales under contract. At the same time he claims MAPS will reach a point where they will stop needing fresh money from recruits. Never in HISTORY has there been a ROI even close to 2% per day that WASN'T a scam. Much less BEFORE the customers came on board.

Kevin Thomopson did some work for Deese, but Deese does not say what he did. Thompson himself has confirmed he no longer represents Deese, so why bring it up?
In the next breath Deese mentions using top programmers and mathematicians yet fails to name them. Why would that be since these are the type of people who would get business from word of mouth? One can only conclude these people don't exist.

Using hosting service: Welcome to Infolink makes his of top programmers and super duper security team claims more dubious. That and the fact that MAPS has created nothing that doesn't already exist.

The bulk of the video focuses on the money people will be making, just like an infomercial. Slingblade had nicer living conditions than Deese. Simon is filming videos from two story penthouses in the heart of London, while the CEO does double duty with a TV angled in the corner of his apartment? Color me skeptical this guy will be sitting in front of Fortune 500 CEOs in this century.

Also in the Patrick Pretty article, we have this:-

    Maps 262 Mar 15.jpg

Shaun Smith, eh? Chum of Simon Stepsys and now fellow Maps promoter.....and now, as we know, as ex-Zeekler who is being sued for the profits he made out of promoting Zeek.

As an aside, I didn't realise that Anguilla, where Maps is supposedly based, is a British Overseas Territory. How odd, I think, that Mike Deese (an American) would choose to base his venture there. But not as odd if MAPs is in fact British in origin, which I am starting to think it may be. I don't know - but I do wonder.

You know how it works in ponziland,

stick a picture on your fridge door and shaving mirror and it will mysteriously manifest itself in your driveway and all you have to do is click on links and buy credit packs.

Now here is something that I find very interesting:-

Simon Stepsys And Shaun Smith Show You How To Become Successful Online

Right at the bottom of the page it says (c) [copyright] 2010, Shaun Smith and Simon Stepsys. There are also other references to "Howtomarketexperts.com", also dated 2010. They are selling a training programme on how to make money on the internet using an automated system that makes money while you sleep, for £59.97 (although they say the price is about to go up soon!).

    Maps 263 Mar 15.jpg

And if you recruit, you make more money too:-

    Maps 264 Mar 15.jpg

And you don't have to spend hours a day on it. Anything starting to sound familiar here?

And amongst the testimonials is one from a certain Julie Templeton (copyright on the testimonials page is 2012)

    Maps 265 Mar 15.jpg

Who was also in Banners Broker....

    Maps BB JT Mar 15.jpg

    And went onto MAPS...

    MAPs 266 Mar 15 JT MP.jpg

    Ain't it all just cosy??

In all fairness, this video was released shortly after MAPS was born, maybe in Jan / Feb 2014. At that time it is like that Thompson had just finished working with them - he stated that he was 'retained' by them
    when I spoke with him.

Aside from that, and reference Deese giving an interview from the 'lounge area' of his ma's trailer - yes, I had wondered that myself...

I mean, you only have to browse his FB profile to find huge disparities between the CEO of some big advertising thingy and a total loser.

Only 2 years prior to the launch of MAPS he was crying and calling his momma because his band 'Highway 45' kicked him out coz he couldn't
    afford to attend band practice:

The thing with MAPS is, its supposed to be an 'advertising' company, for anything or business you want to try and get sales from. So why would anyone , who doesnt have any 'legit' business to promote, wish to join? Oh yeah that would because its nothing to do with promoting at all, and just to make money for all them at top!
You wouldnt go to your local newspaper and buy 100 ad space in the paper and never use them!, thats all MAPS is, crazy when you look at it from this angle!

Hey, Jennyp123, thanks for the video of Mike Deese's band. I have watched some of it.

One question, when are they going to stop tuning up and start playing?

re: Is My Advertising Pays / The Advert Platform A Scam or Ponzi?

I've just looked at Mike Deese's FB page - more specifically, the groups of which he is a member.

These include (to take a random selection):-

HYIP Programs - suggestions and evaluations
    HYIP Millionaires
    HYIP Profit
    ADHIT Profits
    HYIP Wolrd
    Post Your Opportunity Here!
    Official Group of Carinvest.com
    Network Marketing
How to make Good Money from Home

I think that's an odd choice for someone who is allegedly the inventor and CEO of a big network advertising programme, and who has worked with "top mathematicians" in its creation. His list comes over to me more as, well, the sort of list a newbie marketer who was desperately seeking ways to make money might have. And his work. listed on his FB page, includes the US Airforce and something called Work from Home Savings Highway - that hasn't updated its FB page since Jan 2012.

    It's all very curious.

    Two things to note here:-

    (1) There is a complaint that, after all the excitment and hype, the wheel spins allowed per member have just been decreased to 6 a day;
    (2) Where is "Mike" doing his "due dlilgence" if he still goes ahead and joins MAPs - on the moon?

People can compare what is said in the video with this ad dated Feb 7, 2014. Identical to the one I got from Simon Stepsys which is sort of funny because at the bottom it says "learn to delegate". As in Simon told his lil no thinkin gimp Stokes what to say.

My Advertising Pays Known as MAPS- Review
February 7, 2014 By MS mark stokes

Already he has corporations interested in advertising waiting
in the wings for the membership to hit a certain threshold of
    5000+ which will happen fast.

So all of this was supposed to happen at 5000 membership, we are allegedly at 100K+++ and a year later. Deese sounds like he didn't make the first call in his video. Mappers might want to review the "Bring out the Gimp" scene from Pulp Fiction to see what happens next. And I ain't talkin the Bruce Willis hero part.

As we kibitzed in the past Deese is most likely a patsy being tossed a few bucks to take the fall in this scam. Probably to pay off some gambling debt or something equally wasteful https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=3&theater

There is nothing convincing about Deese's whale of a tale.

I don't know where/how these people evaluate opportunities other than looking at some pictures of shiny stuff. I would submit if someone is only going to throw a few bucks in that money would be better served paying off debt or in real savings. If they are going to go "ALL IN" then they are screwed, nevertheless, here is a good checklist that will keep them out next time around.

The irony is Simon Stepsys advertises his PaysDaily.com of the same magazine that produced this list.
