Incidentally, Banners Broker certainly wasn't the first scheme that Arseblaster tried pimpin' to the masses; I was in quite a few of the same programs as him don't forget and he'd been trying his luck even longer than me I think at the time?

Then the charming Ms Stringer posted somewhere that there was going to be a MAP update live from Dubai this weekend, with "mind blowing" news.

It contains some other pictures, the majority of which are shots of Dubai by night, on the beach, a flash car etc. Two, and only two, are of the Dubai event. And where is the "mind blowing" news? Haven't had it yet!

Dubai is 4 hours ahead of the UK, so it must be coming up to 5pm over there. Surely the "mind blowing" news has been revealed by now?

I hate to be the one to break it to you Danny, but MAP is going to blame the members for its demise no matter what you do. This is just part of their exit strategy all along. MAP is gone. It only still exists in the MAPsters minds believing it will come back.

I know that the more experienced people here have said, several times, and about different schemes, that the promoters need people to follow them to the next "big thing". And I have seen for myself how this happens, as former Mappers are now into UvioO, Recyclix, and Global Money Line (to name but a few!).

I wish I could understand this, but I don't. These promoters would have a far harder time if people just USED A BIT OF COMMON SENSE. Pity common sense is not all that common.

When you say "people" to whom are you referring ??

The insiders who have done special deals (think Turner / Langley / Gherbil / Patel / James and the like) ???

The inveterate gamblers ???

Every time one of these things is prosecuted, there are thousands, if not hundreds of thousands who simply don't respond to the receivers' request for claims. It's not a big stretch to imagine a large percentage of the non respondents don't want to be found, definitely don't want to be identified and are prepared to write off any losses as the "cost of doing ponzi business"

This forum exists to provide information to the genuine true believers and genuinely naive who hopefully do listen and do learn.

Life has taught me that no matter how much people have disappointed you, no matter how senseless their actions, just around the corner waits one more WTF you never saw coming.
That stupid lazy people unwilling to apply elementary maths continue to get scammed while still disappointing, not quite the shocker as it once was.


It is like a giant Ponzi Ferris wheel, with each new scam comes a fresh crop of suckers flashing their ride all day wrist bands. The ones going weeeeeeeeeeeeee work for the carnival, a few riders figure the ruse and head for a cotton candy, and the dupes have no idea they are going in a circle seeing the same sites.

One of the big lies of MLM and by default Ponzi/Pyramid schemes is that of passive/residual income. Build your list/downline for 2-5 years and walk the beaches of the world with an endless income paid for by others efforts. Except that never works, the Ponzi Ferris Wheel continually needs to be refilled. Why the likes of Stepsys schleps the hotel stages of the world instead of traveling for pleasure.

It's hard to say what the attrition rate is in Ponzi/Pyramid, in MLM its huge. Approaching 50-70% the first year huge The 10 Big Lies of Multi-Level Marketing!!! The vocal yet broke and brainwashed dullards doing the bidding of a few pimps actually making money in these scams I proffer greatly masks the very large supply of new fish continually needed to keep these things running. Much of this new catch quickly spit the hook, do that pouty thing fish do, and swim away. Again the chum has to be spread.


I also think the optics of "scambusting" are terrible compared to the fantasy offered by the pimps. For the person that truly believes sitting on their ass and clicking 10 ads per day is anything but a scam what hope is there reaching them? Telling someone they might have to deliver pizza five nights a week in addition to their J.O.B. and live below their means for years to reach their financial goals does not a twitter channel make? Or does it?
