    The problem is, you will be scammed again if you don't also include in your list the most important words of all - recruit, multi-level, or network marketing. Also, "internet marketing" that recruits others, as I know a few who try to slip that one in.

    Nerd, I would second this, based on your responses or lack there of to some very thoughtful posts. Although I hope you are sincere about learning to put the pieces together in evaluating scams. At some level it doesn't matter since readers will get useful information either way, and then they can decide.

    Still would like other questions answered, have a few more and hope you are not slacking this weekend. It sounds like you earned more than $600(Assuming you are a US citizen), did you get a 1099 and from what entity? Whether you withdrew the money or not, the income is taxable.

    Reporting Payments to Independent Contractors

    Since MAPS has US contractors and are doing some business in the US it is my suspicion there are some reporting requirements and most likely tax owed by MAPS.
    https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/26/882 If there are no 1099s, accounting for commission expense creates a red flag.

    Deese if he really is a CEO bestest guess has some paper pushin to do as well.

    NerdO, one more thingy do you see a problem promoting MAPS without either you or it being properly registered? A few hints..

    The court formulated a new test for whether something is a security, called the “risk capital test” which considers

    whether funds are being raised for a business venture or enterprise;
    whether the transaction is offered indiscriminately to the public at large;
    whether the investors are substantially powerless to effect [sic] the success of the enterprise; and
    whether the investor’s money is substantially at risk because it is inadequately secured

    - See more at: http://www.cuttingedgecapital.com/wh....8So9uaEg.dpuf

    The 1946 U.S. Supreme Court case of SEC v. W.J. Howey Co. provides the precedence to determine what a security is. According to the Howey test, an instrument is only a security if it involves an investment of money or other tangible or definable consideration used in a common enterprise with a reasonable expectation of profits to be derived primarily from the entrepreneurial or managerial efforts of others. The form of the security (whether it is a formal certificate or nominal interests in the physical assets employed by the enterprise) is irrelevant. Thus, notes that a furniture store issues to finance a customer’s purchases are not securities, since their purpose is to facilitate the purchase. However, notes issued by a corporation for the general use of the company, where the buyer is primarily interested in the economic gain to be derived from the entrepreneurial or managerial efforts of others, would be a security. The form of the security (whether it is a formal certificate or nominal interests in the physical assets employed by the enterprise) is irrelevant.

    I just checked.....it seems all of Simon's MAPs Facebook pages are down and replaced by someone else's? LOL! Am I reading it wrong? I was just on there earlier while I was reading this thread and suddenly when you click on his link now you get some kind of other MAPs bullshit site (with a girl on a stripper pole). This is comedy gold!

    Guys....Smarmy Simon is no longer a part of this! At least as far as I can tell. All his "MAPS simon" facebook pages have been diverted to the link I supplied above. He's obviously trying to get his money and run!

    I actually posted on the page that was supposed to be his (which is no longer there)....as follows.

    Wait...isn't this supposed to be Simon Stepsy's page? What the....? I'm thinking by Monday this Ponzi will be completely defunct. It's delightful to watch though:)

    They haven't even the sense to delete it yet...chuckle.

    You seem to have the wrong link:

    Thanks guys.....Although I know I'm not insane. Earlier and yesterday while I was reading this thread there was a specific "Simon Stepsys Top earners club or something".....I can't remember what it said or what the link was, but it was Facebook. Believe me, it's gone. The link you're giving me is not what I was clicking before. (I've been doing this for the better part of a day and I KNOW either he or someone else in MAPS has taken his sites down).....They all now lead to his personal blog. (Besides that one with the stripper pole)......Let me go back in my history and I'll try to recreate

    I think the confusion comes from the fact viewers now need to be logged in to Facebook to see Septic Simons' page.

    Failing to log in makes it appear the page has been removed.

    Maybe that's what it is....I don't know. I looked in my history and came up with this...Simon Stepsys MyAdvertisingPays Success Group, which I swear wasn't the page I was looking at before...or maybe I've lost it and gone completely batty. In either case it's still fun. (I think maybe after viewing his pages for a few hours it had a deleterious effect on me)

    Nah, "Myriad Force" is (or was) serial ponzi pimp Ty Anderson who has been conspicuous by his absence since the HYIP ponzi fraud he was pimping at the time, Profitable Sunrise was busted, destroying whatever credibility he had.

    Ty was pimping The Achieve Community at MMG as Ferguson. When the mods figured out that he was using more than one username, they banned him using Ferguson. Then he tried to come back using another alias and got banned again. Then he tried it a third time and again got banned. Before he could try it again with another username, Achieve bit the dust. You can be assured if they hadn't, he would have tried to use another username. This from the guy who claimed that I had multiple usernames.

    I keep expecting to see him trying to pop up as someone else promoting one of the other matrix programs that have sprung up since the collapse of Achieve. Wouldn't be surprised if he was in Trinity Lines. Right down his alley as he, like those in Trinity Lines, love to quote Scripture to lure people into their Ponzi de Jour.

    re: Is My Advertising Pays / The Advert Platform A Scam or Ponzi?

    Now, here's a posting from one of our dear friends, Frank Calabro Jnr:-

    Maps 284 Mar 15.jpg

    If you look carefully at his list of adverts (there are a few more not in the screenshot, but thay are all the same type) you will see that they are all about MAPS.

    I always wondered about these adverts. What are you supposed to advertise? Window cleaning? Diet pills? Your local shop? But now I see it. You go in MAPS and advertise MAPS spinoff products to other MAPS members in a closed loop!

    What a winner! It's even more of a closed shop than I thought.
