Funnily enough, there's nothing whatsoever on Danny boy's "not a scam" FB page. Haven't had time to look at his blog yet.
Well, maybe he hasn't seen the Mirror article yet. Although I have seen it reposted on several other FB pages......

Behind MLM has an article too. Extract from a much longer article below:-
Simon Stepsys dodges UK media (MyAdvertisingPays)

I agree, and I think it is important that the article is in the Mirror.
It might not be a respected broadsheet like the Times or Telegraph, but let's face it, people who read those papers - or the Guardian - aren't likely to be joining schemes of one sort or another. It's far more likely that readers of the tabloids like the Sun and Mirror (and possibly the Mail) will be providing the audience that MAPs needs. So word will be getting out in the right arena.
I'd still like to see other newspapers picking up on it too. The more the merrier, as they say!

All this from a little telling off by the ASA
As Stepsys (King of Bling) might say himself, from small acorns etc etc

And who knows? It certainly can't be a particularly good thing to have this come out, even in a rag like The Mirror

My Advertising Pays GB From Tony Booth: Hi guys, we have had our profile raised in the national press today as many are now aware. This over all has little effect on our business but one issue is a limited company called MAP is claimed to be being struck off at companies house. This company although of the same name has nothing to do with MY Advertising Pays. When we changed payment processors last year one we looked at was Allied wallet. They advised us that we needed a UK registered company and decided to open one for us without our consent and ultimately we chose not to go with them. In the UK Companies House will close any companies registered that have not put in an Annual return. THIS DOES NOT EFFECT OUR BUSINESS so please Pass this on down the line.
Anyone know what this is all about, usual crap?

Actually, the newspaper article is even better than the online article. I mean the wording is the same, but it dominates nearly a full page of the newspaper, and the heading is "SIMON SAYS IT'S SO SIMPLE TO GET RICH - bling. bling but banned salesman fails to answer his calls".
I've taken a photo of the actual page:-

Love the masthead too... "Penman Investigates........from the fishy to the fraudulent" !!! LMAO!!

and funny how none of them are using this to the advantage of demonstrating how maps is allegedly legitimate.

Ah. That's why Danny boy is quiet. He's in Italy for an MAPs event over there.
And tonight, there is this splendid event that, sadly, I won't be attending:-
Maps 612 July 15.jpg Maps 613 July 15.jpg
What's the betting that Mark "The Gerbil" Ghobril is going to defend the Simon "The Bling King" Stepsys, after today's little bombshell?
Pity that the Communications supremo hasn't said anything, apart from the piece kindly passed on by wayne1983 above. Perhaps they are working on the theory that if they don't say anything, it will all go away.

Meanwhile, over on his FB group page, Simon has posted this delightful exchange where he encourages someone to get out their credit card and "BUY MORE!"
Hasn't anyone realised the price of a Bentley? They don't come cheap, you know!
Maps 611 July 15.jpg
Over on his personal page, the Bling King has hit back (if it can be counted as such) by posting a picture entitled "Money Walks - Haters Talk". And yet another tired still from the Wolf of Wall Street.
Pathetic.
I'm waiting for someone to claim that Andrew Penman of the Daily Mirror is a "hater" who "doesn't understand the business".

exactly. don't forget, septic has already been bitchslapped by the government once already. they certainly don't need him being looked into again. one would have to be more stupid than joining maps to try and defend a criminal.

As to usual crap from Booth the Spoof, would say so. Anyone convinced Simon Stepsys is a legit businessman that has somehow been misunderstood by the haterz will likely be as determined as ever to kiss his ring. Conversely people who have doubts just got another chance to see the emperor has no clothes. OK, he does have one suit weaved from the souls of victims with a unique lining of broken dreams and empty promises.
Beacon had started a thread on http://www.realscam.com/f43/allied-wallet-3549/ some time back.
This is one more nail in the nonsense coffin. If I wanted to buy some Yosemite Sam mud flaps for my El Camino I really wouldn't care about using a payment processor. As a method of funding an investment it would be an immediate non-starter. One look at the thread and it becomes apparent AW is helping people violate the law. Is that the type of organization that should even make the short list of potential suitors for the next Google?
MAPS is set up with host of shells and mail drops. Maybe AW set up the UK registered company, maybe some ninny affiliated with MAPS did for a little more smoke and mirrors. Either one diminishes the seriousness of MAPS as anything more than a shell game soon to be raided or bled dry with bad math.
Booth should take a page from Simon and shut up.

once again, noticeably absent from making any comment is the alleged 'owner' of the scam. Amazing how the booth scammers have so much more knowledge about what goes on inside a 'company' they do not own and are merely just alleged affiliates.

I haven't watched the video for fear it would make me blub too much.
"Vindication"? How and when and why was he "vindicated", anyone know?
I think it's interesting that these schemes also have a bit of a cult of personality going on. For me, that would be a huge red flag and major off-putter (apart from the fact that I would't ever join one). I don't "worship" anyone.
