Following on from the Herbalife and Vemma cases, the FTC blog stresses the need for genuine retail sales to be the primary focus in Multi Level Marketing

The FTC started mailing out checks to 350,000 Herbalife victims as a part of the settlement. Average payment was about $571. Herbalife is a scam that should have been shut down completely.
