I have not heard of this one but there is a RS thread on a Thrive food scam
It and a huge number of food scams were pimped at Adlandpro by one Mary Evelyn Simpson. The two seem unrelated but it could have been that which made you think that you had seen the information here. Some general information about food scams at Scamlandpro.

Re: Thrive la vie
There are a few "Thrives" out there, not that it matters for the next few paragraphs. The income and product claims always lofty, absent any proof of this particular program assuming 99% are losing money after time and expenses is a safe bet. The Mirage of Multilevel Marketing Further, without rigorous INDEPENDENT testing any health claims IMO are specious at best.
This is America’s favorite dietary supplement, even though the benefits aren’t proven - The Washington Post
With Benefits Unproven, Why Do Millions of Americans Take Multivitamins?
ANY MLM selling supplements will have a near identical T&C for their reps to sign. I'll paraphrase, reps are very unlikely to make any money and any claims they make regarding health benefits of this product are their responsibility alone. Get sued, good luck!

Indemnification for Unauthorized Claims and Actions
A consultant is fully responsible for all of his or her verbal and/or written statements made regarding Thrive Life Products, and the Compensation Plan which are not expressly contained
in Official Thrive Life Materials. Consultants agree to indemnify Thrive Life and hold it harmless from any and all liability including judgments, civil penalties, refunds, attorney fees, court costs or
lost business incurred by Thrive Life as a result of the consultant’s unauthorized representations or actions. This provision shall survive the termination of a consultant’s Consultant Agreement.
Product Claims
No claims relating to any Products offered by Thrive Life may be made by consultants except those contained in Official Thrive Life Materials.
This includes shelf life claims that are different than what is stated on the label and the price list. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing,
no consultant may make any claim that Thrive Life Products are useful in the cure, treatment, diagnosis, mitigation or of any diseases.
Such statements can be perceived as medicinal or drug related claims. No shelf life claims may be made by consultants that are different than what is stated
on the label and the price list.
Income Claims
A consultant, when presenting or discussing the Thrive Life opportunity or Compensation Plan to a prospective consultant, may not make income projections, income claims or disclose to any third parties, including but not limited to potential Thrive Life consultant applicants, his or her Thrive Life income
Governmental Approval or Endorsement
Federal and state regulatory agencies and/or officials do not approve or endorse any direct selling companies or programs. Therefore, consultants shall not represent or imply that Thrive
Life or its Compensation Plan have been “approved,” “endorsed” or otherwise sanctioned by any government agency.
Independent Consultant Status
Consultants are independent contractors, and are not purchasers of a franchise or a business opportunity.
Insurance Liability and Risk
The consultant agrees to keep in force all liability, business, and vehicle insurance in such terms and amounts as are required by law or is reasonable as prudent business practice. The consultant
understands that while traveling to or from Company related meetings, home parties, events, workshops, or gatherings, the consultant is doing so as an independent contractor and as a part of his or her own independent business and not in any manner as an employee, or agent of the Company, notwithstanding the fact that his or her attendance may be based in whole or in part by invitation from, or agreement with, the Company to attend. Consultant assumes all risk and responsibility for such travel.

There is some robust discussion here thrive supplements - Topix I couldn't make it through the whole thing but see what I would call violations of the above T&C. Nothing new, every MLM that peddles potions seems to have these lofty claims being made by reps that either want to make a quick buck and/or are not aware of the potential legal consequences of playing doctor.

Unfortunately that is part of the con.
If whatever crap these companies are peddling worked they would hire representatives like the pharma companies and have them visit with the doctors. Imagine the cost savings realized by insurance companies if their customers could be healthier just popping a few magic pills and drinking a super shake. Massive money marketing that way. So there must be something keeping them from doing it. Of course the MLM rep will counter that it is some sort of a conspiracy that keeps these cures from the public.
So it continues until the next new product label and comp plan gets slapped on the same old bottle of potion.
