Thanks BB, still haven't figured out how to do that.
This has just been claimed by a member on Facebook, any news of it anywhere else?

This is a rumor and wishful thinking. Just like the claim that Ruja was arrested in Germany a few months back was false. If it were real, it would be in the news as this would be major news. The SEC and FTC would have issued a press release of their actions. Nothing is showing on either website in their press release section.
While not true yet, one can hope it will be true soon.
Re: USI-tech claims its' sale of unregistered securities in US "legal"
I want it to be true but is its structure amiable to this quick action? Just the jurisdictional issues seem daunting.
This is probably coincidence but Frank Rizzo is also one of the names used by the Jerky Boys. They were professional prank callers from Queens, NY who were very popular in the 90s.

"Brennan made the majority of the calls, and over the years established an arsenal of characters to unleash on unsuspecting phone-answerers. Frank Rizzo, blue-collar man-about-town with expertise in all manner of construction jobs and innovative insults like "assneck," "liver lips" and "sizzlechest." Sol Rosenberg, a sort of Woody Allen caricature with an anal-warts obsession. Jack Tors, sexual deviant and self-aggrandizing showman capable of pulling many large pieces of furniture out of his ass."

Well this should make a certain friend of ours real happy.
The Securities Division of the North Carolina Department of the Secretary of State is issuing this Investor Alert to warn investors of fraudulent and illegal investment schemes taking advantage of the recent upsurge in the public’s interest in cryptocurrencies

Regular observers of the HYIP ponzi fraud industry will no doubt be familiar with the name of serial ponzi pimp, Michael Banks aka Happy Days Goldfinder.
https://imageshack.com/a/img922/166/m98Vd1.png
Good ol' Happy was a member of Traffic Monsoon who regularly boasted he was making enough from TM to be able to "retire" to Portugal, where he became a member of USI-Tech.
Oh how things change in the wonderful world of HYIP ponzi players.

Oh phuck me....that post about him living in a tent and the compassionate landlord.... is stolen, it was in a blog of Christopher Bruce (who at the Fogbow is known as "the Mighty Spork")
Trying to find the original post, but these people even steal their sob stories...
Re: USI-tech claims its' sale of unregistered securities in US "legal"
Well, here is where it comes up there, but the destination is a dead link...but it was the same post, I recognize the tent!

Continuing the story.
Another in the series: "Lessons for young ponzi players"
One day you're a rooster, the next a feather duster.
Happy Days Goldfinder, aka Michael Banks
King of the Kids in Traffic Monsoon and then USI-Tech.

Re: USI-tech claims its' sale of unregistered securities in US "legal"
A--A--A--A--N--D,
The American and Canadian USI-Tech members have now officially been kicked to the curb
https://imageshack.com/a/img923/6865/zUch5a.png
Just like My Advertising Pays did before it faded away into the ether, USI-Tech have successfully eliminated around 50% of its' liabilities and extended the life of its' dying fraud for a few months.
The funny part is, just as the MAP victims members did, the US and Canadian USIT members, rather than complaining, are actually congratulating the fraudsters for their courage and transparency in stealing members' money.
And people wonder why the authorities find it so difficult bringing serial fraudsters to justice
Re: USI-tech claims its' sale of unregistered securities in US "legal"
Re: USI-tech claims its' sale of unregistered securities in US "legal"
Re: USI-tech claims its' sale of unregistered securities in US "legal"
See what happens when law enforcement agencies are too inept to prosecute serial fraudsters and allow them to operate openly with apparent impunity ????
https://imageshack.com/a/img923/3614/A2uA5b.png
Yep, you guessed it.
Lynne and Tony Booth.
The same Lynne and Tony Booth who were behind My Advertising Pays and who were directly responsible for hundreds of thousands of victims losing millions.
Free to carry on their dirty work right under the noses of those charged with protecting us.

Re: USI-tech claims its' sale of unregistered securities in US "legal"
If I talk about what wonderful cookies I make in my GE Ovens, and mistakenly claim that they are both convection ovens, can GE be charged with letting me bake cookies in a regular oven? I mean, the cookies are still great, but only one of my ovens is a convection oven, and its not the one I bake cookies in.
I'm just trying to find a logical reason how customers calling something a thing that it isn't being a reason that the company should get in trouble with the authorities. For that matter, even in the case of a legitimate financial company? I have a Fidelity Account that's dollar based, but if I post on Facebook my account, except I show it in Pounds Sterling, who would Fidelity be in trouble with, the SEC or the FSA? Will Fidelity suspend my account for that? Will their lawyers make them shut down all their UK accounts without allowing my English friends to take their money out first?
Gee, when you ask it like that, it almost makes it look like they're lying, doesn't it?
Re: USI-tech claims its' sale of unregistered securities in US "legal"
Lying and conveniently overlooking the fact the Texas complaint specifically names only USI-Tech and NOT Thomas or Rivera as being engaged in fraud

Re: USI-tech claims its' sale of unregistered securities in US "legal"
I can imagine USI-Techs' US and Canadian members choking on their Cornflakes as they contemplate their losses and discover their so called "leaders" celebrating with the money they've stolen from their loyal followers.

Can't and won't do anything, but it's apologising, and that's nice, isn't it? I'm sure it will be a big comfort to those who have lost money.

I don't see real lawyers telling an alleged real company to not pay out what they owe to satisfy the balance sheets and avoid litigation.
