Steve Jobs was an iconic part of my own adult life. He stood for progress and overcoming almost insurmountable odds fueled by the doubts of the status quo mainstream of society and culture within mainstream business. He was a maverick, out of the box thinker that followed his heart and intuition. He said, “That your heart and intuition already know what you need to become.” He achieved a world changing and game changing prowess not only within the computer industry but in society. He made his company’s products part of our ethos and our belief of what can be. I just watched the movie of his early years. It brought back my own recollection of my own views of his company, products and brand magnetism during my own life. I smiled. He inspired many of us to be ready to change the world and take the brow beating of all those that are not ready and able to be part of the solutions and those not ready to think of what’s next and say why not! Steve Jobs had his share of personal quirks and driven business tactics and he may not have always been the most personable guy, but he was a rule breaker, game changer and inspiration to all maverick leaders and thinkers.

Now Just ask yourself, if Steve Jobs could orchestrate our economic platform for our national economy, what would he focus on and why… no Why not?

I doubt he would see Universal Healthcare as the biggest issue, and not even getting people back to being employed, and no he would not worry about government confidence by the voters. He would look at our potential and begin to build the economy that nobody else can see yet. He wouldn’t worry about the cost to do so, he would understand the reward would far outweigh the costs and risks to achieve, The NEXT America! Jobs I think would focus on creating dynamic change and destroy all the impediments that restrict our achieving it. I think he would see governments role as regulatory, not management and operations. He would see the byzantine tax code as something that inhibits growth and personal innovation, risk and reward and find a better way for government to provide us with our expectations of protecting us, making sure we get treated fairly in our global affairs, and that what we purchase is safe and reliable and that it has the surety of being what we expect when we purchase it, especially in our financial matters of our own personal affairs. He would want capitalism to be more aggressive and not filtered by governmental intervention.

Today, let’s embrace the spirit of Steve Jobs. Let’s look at what we want our country to become, not how can we keep it solvent and just functioning with some false hope of future outcomes based on further false promises of an economic reality that we all have known for decades that does not add up.

Today, it is time for all of us to become those maverick thinkers, those radical leaders of outspoken risk takers and to push our nation to a new level of progress that means we must unbuckle from the shackled chains of oppressive governmental ideals that they know what is best for WE THE PEOPLE. We know what is best it lies in each of our own intuition and hearts. We know we must rise to a new level of challenges and undue the follies of failed economic policies for the past forty years or more. We must unleash the NEXT AMERICA in the 21st century to be something no other nation has yet achieved.

I hope you will join me in this journey to create the necessary external voices that demand positive changes that will lift our entire nation to new unimagined heights. Let’s not forget just how foreign our founding fathers must have felt when they called for a revolution to break away from the King of England and to create a set of inalienable rights for all citizens… that was a game changer and it was definitely not the status quo!

    (1) Steve Jobs actually had a company with products to sell.

    (2) Yes, government should regulate. It's a shame the FAA didn't regulate that big bag of noxious gas that flew into EMC 7 yrs ago on his majic carpet.

    (3) Methinks that noxious bag of gas needs to occupy a cell next to Bernie Madoff.

Shouldn't we have heard the big announcement from Frank the Bank and his new best bud Chris Brown by now? I'm sure if there was that big bag of wind Holbrook would have beaten them to it. My money's on Freindswood announcing plans for a business park on the West side of Hwy. 59.

Here's the thing about the Army football team: it's reallyreally bad. As far as the score goes, Army has lost to Navy in one of the biggest rivalries in college football for the twelfth consecutive year. But if you look a little more closely, you'll see that there are a few ways Army actually did win the game this past Saturday.

I love this blog article... I support my Cadet and I am super proud of him. Mine is a class of 2017 first year Plebe but he rocks as do all the Cadets at USMA, West Point.

I pray the Lord that he is not like his old man. If he is he will not last long as a freshman 2nd LT. His platoon Sgt. will most likely stick a grenade up his ass to protect the men in the platoon. Or we have the other side of the coin. He will most likely give B**w Jobs to the Generals and get promoted to Major WindBag Jr.

That's rich. What? Is 5 Star General Blowhard trying to make that ragtag band of wussies and the sea of pansies in the stands (including his son) that cheer for them feel better after having their a$$ handed to them for the 12th straight year? The U S Army might have snagged my oldest as a Combat Medic, and maybe they'll ship him to the Academy to help patch up that ragtag band of wussies, but when they offered my youngest an opportunity to play for them at the academy he told me "Dad, there's no way in hell I'd go there and play, they suck big donkey d--cks."

Hey, Don, by the way, my youngest actually earned his invite to get in the Academy (which he turned down), I didn't have to some Congressman or State Legislator from Nevada for him to get that opportunity.

Don Allen Holbrook, litigious scammer from purgatory, is once again trying to screw his creditors:

This ridiculous case which is on its 8th plan is also getting a new judge. It is high time this scammer get sat on for abusing bankruptcy. His wife still dresses to the nines and they spend like he is successful, yet all the while their creditors have to eat it.

Holbrook is raking in 10 grand to over 16 grand a month. He has just now filed his monthly operating reports for April - July 2013. How many of his fellow citizens are making such huge amounts monthly and get the privilege of writing off their debts? In his 2007 bankruptcy this clown wrote off almost 2 million dollars in debt with 1.29 million of that legal fees (for his vicious attacks on legitimate critics perhaps.) He and his family still live and dress like royalty. Yet, his creditors are just getting screwed and the taxpayers in Texas are out millions thanks to his dinosaur park debacle that costs millions and leaves $21,000,000.00 in bonds to be satisfied after Holbrook himself stuck a hand in every pie and made out like a bandit.

    Don Allen Holbrook

Here is the real Castle in Sion of which the fictional Chateau de Nois will be based upon in the upcoming book, "The 9th Templar"

    November 24, 2009

Holbrook can't afford the castle for his spoiled wife who is fawning over the knight on the book cover! I think her days of living the lifestyle of the rich and famous are definitely coming to an end!

2nd Edition of The Next America- Being Published by Motivational Press in 2014

The Next America 2nd Edition Announcement 2014

Exciting news everyone… my first edition of the Next America-Moving Beyond a Fragile Economy was released in 2011. I began to network about possible new traditional publishers in late 2013 for a revised 2nd edition to this very popular book. I finally found an awesome Publisher in Motivational Press, and their Publisher/CEO Justin Sachs. Wow what a great crew of people. Motivational Press only produces books in the non-fiction genre and within the particular focus of my books target audience. Those would be people concerned about how to get ahead in these challenging times and those folks that want to advocate and learn about what changes we need to make to rebuild the American Dream today. I signed my publishing contract with them Christmas Eve 2013. I am very excited about this new 2nd Edition of “The Next America-How to Survive and Thrive in Today’s Unpredictable Economy.” I wanted to make all my friends and fans aware of the anticipated release of my latest book in the Spring of 2014.

I hope you all have a Healthy, Prosperous and Happy 2014!

Anyone happen to catch Ken Paulson's piece in the Wednesday, Jan 22 edition of USA Today? Seems as though Buzz, Woody, and the gang have rights after all, so says the 9th Circuit US Court of Appeals. To infinity...... and beyond, my friends.

    Holbrook bragged on 9/10/2013:

4.) With regard to MOM2mom’s stupidity on admittedly not being a good listener… first of all my 140 page book is a coffee table fact book about the research I conducted on the Knights Templar Order when writing my book, the “9th Templar,” which has not been published yet, because it is a book to film project. So the movie deal is real and the book is not released so get your facts straight lady ( I use that term loosely of course since I doubt true ladies would congregate on REALSCUMS…now that name fits their blog site!) LMAO
Holbrook was bragging that he would be working with this bloke https://www.facebook.com/pages/Direc...ref=ts&fref=ts

Holbrook tried to suck warm marks into funding his non-fiction book and film deal and that one blew up in his face. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...and-video-trai Scammer boy was hoping to get people to take an expensive trip with him too, presumably so he and his family could go for free.

Apparently, the book to movie deal was another one of Holbrook's wild fantasies as was Earthquest.

Donny boy is now on Twitter begging for for a book agent with Hollywood connections. What a loser!

Though I should warn you that in certain towns, the walls do not have protective railings – Obidos in Portugal being a case in point.

What is Our Country Coming To?

    17 Thursday Apr 2014
Posted by economicdeveloper in The Next America Discussion

Constitutional Rights, I just learned today mean nothing to some reporting companies in the credit and financial industry.

So, here is my story which has me angry and feeling betrayed even more by our elected leaders.

I went to open an account at Scottrade the online banking and brokerage firm you see advertised all the time. I gave them my money, they opened my account. When I went to purchase some stock for my IRA, I found my order would not go through. So I went to visit my local office. That was an interesting experience. First the associate said now I want you to know we can’t give you financial advice… I smiled, finally I thought Nirvana I can purchase what I want without being subjected to a sales pitch on why somebody else’s opinion of what I should do is best for me. “Perfect” I tell him. Then I get a glimpse of just why perhaps I should pay more at a regular firm. Apparently Scottrade’s representative took that disclaimer to mean, that he doesn’t have to provide me with professional services or be courteous in his demeanor. Wow what an eye opening experience. Ah, but the fun was only getting started.

Next I asked Mr. Congeniality (not his real name) to please advise me as to why my account is restricted? He looks me up in his cheery (being fictitious) manner and says their compliance Department has advised them to restrict my account and recommends closing it and returning my money.

Ok, now I’m totally at a loss for words. I have never been told something like this in my life. He says he cannot tell why this has been recommended and gives me the phone number to call their compliance department.

So today I did that. Oh My Gosh here is what I found out. This compliance department isn’t their firm it’s outsourced to some credit and background company. I spoke with the woman and she confirms my identity. Then she says you are being recommend for decline because you have a corruption charge against you from 2012. Now I’m smoking mad. She reminds me that our call is of course tape recorded. “Good, I want your company to know my thoughts on your innuendo you’re spreading about me.” She is polite but can offer me know resolution. So I tell her I sued the City of Huber Heights in 2012 for breach of their contract and not paying me and my team for our services rendered. They counter claimed for misrepresentation… A typical ploy for anyone that is trying to not pay you. The case was dropped by us both. I decided not to pursue them further because I could not recover my cost of litigation because City’s in Ohio are immune to such costs. Therefore my cost to sue them and prevail would far exceed my fees owed. They also dropped their own claim in my opinion because they could not produce any facts to substantiate their claims. None the less, neither side was rendered a final decision in a court of law.

The woman then tells me that this is the charge they are speaking of. I again was dumbstruck with bewilderment. “Miss surely you and your firm understand that such claims are not factual unless a court renders them so?” She then makes a jaw dropping admission, “Sir we base our opinions on articles in the news and through online news reports.” Again I am extremely frustrated, but I trudge ahead. “Miss, you and your firm need to understand that news report in is just opinion not based on necessarily facts, it is just like making choices on unsubstantiated rumors.” She acknowledges that she understands my frustration, but I doubt she really did, so I choose to enlighten her.

“Miss this is the United States of America, we are a Republic not a lynch mob democracy where opinions or popularity govern our way of deciding what is right and wrong. Our nation is ruled by the rule of laws . One of our inalienable rights is all parties are presumed innocent until deemed otherwise by a verdict in a court of law. Our fore fathers fought to create this system and many of our ancestors and our own family today protect our freedom to these rights. Freedom has been earned in our nation with done mighty supreme sacrifices. Your firm is stomping all over my right to being treated fairly by judging me on false rumors and allegations that were not able to be substantiated, so I have no corruption in my history what so ever,”. She apologizes profusely but that did nothing to stop this tranny. I suddenly understand the bigger problem… Our government has somehow allowed this discrimination to be utilized and so it is. Our government is now slowly dismantling our own inalienable rights given to us through our constitution. This is how far our elected leaders have allowed our rights to be diminished.

We must all stand up and just say “Enough of this!” We must begin to strongly advocate for the transformation of our government back to being of the people, by the people and for the people!

If we all continue to think that all of this is someone else’s problem, then you will soon wake up to realize that America is no longer the land of the free and not the home of enough brace folks to hold our elected leaders accountable for the deplorable lack of acting to protect our rights and you will no longer have such freedoms. You will have quietly allowed them to have been eroded by our own apathy and fear of advocating for what is right . As I say in my book, The Next America, “you are either part of the problem or part of the solution.” If we continue to be too busy to protect our freedoms and rights we will soon regret our decision to do nothing. I hope you speak up, may God help us if we allow this to continue and destroy our great nation from within, just as Lenin predicted.
God Bless America… I will not be silent when I see her under assault by our own elected leaders selling us out! Please join me and others who feel the same way.
Holbrook probably had the case against him dropped because he was in bankruptcy and the city didn't want to continue to chase an uncollectable pauper. All his years of economic development where he was accused of resume fraud and questionable spending, and him responding with nasty legal threats and lawsuits are going to haunt him forever. There is good reason he was fired from 2 positions and not renewed for a third. Earthquest being perpetually stalled when he had a hand in every pie and consulted everyone and their dog while his LLCs raked in a cool 1.2 million isn't helping his reputation either.

Holbrook made his own bed and he is now mad because he is paying a steep price for his antics. So much for silencing free speech and publication of public records. I can't imagine why anyone would do business with someone with his track record. I think we will be enjoying many more such sob stories from our rotund buffoon!

What about the rights of the people who simply don't want to do business with persons they consider arrogant or sleazy, or untrustworthy or overly litigious or just downright nasty bastards or, plainly and simply don't want the hassle OR the business ??

Don't they have rights too ??

says the crying **** who attacks those that want to hold him accountable when taking taxpayer money.

Don't they have rights too ??
Donny boy added a lively addendum to his absolutely delish post:
All of this was started by the cyber vigilante and cyber stalker called Soapboxmom, who goes around attacking folks based on her own narrow minded opinions and unsubstantiated claims using the false basis of being allowed to do so under her own misguided perception of our freedom of speech rights. She is unethical in her claims and a ruthless mean and malicious vile person that uses the internet to attack people and attempt to ruin their reputation for her own personification. She began all these rumors and it is her own fault that such despicable acts are being tolerated due to our own apathy in protecting our rights as American citizens. Her actions are making a mockery of our rights as well, until at such time as our elected officials create some laws to address such cyber stalkers, but that time is fast approaching.
Arrogant, sleazy, untrustworthy, overly litigious and just downright nasty ******* he is! Amen! He should think twice before threatening folks and definitely before filing lawsuits. He bit off a whole lot more than he could chew! And, for heaven's sake he looks like a heaping pile of dung making all kinds of accusations about false information when he has never identified and refuted any such thing. Numerous journalists and bloggers over the years have published stories on Holbrook and he hasn't responded to a one of us with any real facts that I can recall. If there was a world meltdown king event he would walk away with the grand prize!

This was posted on a blog:

    Ray Smith;

Truly I believe you are describing yourself in your comments although being stupid, overly disturbed and pious is not a crime as of yet.

You insist on commenting on my life without any credible basis for your attacks. Your name calling just demonstrates to folks how stupid you are. Plus hiding behind your computer in cyber space like a detergent queen I know also shows your own cowardice.

I love how you say l have refused to validate my comments with journalists and reporters. I don't categorize your cited instances of written commentary into falling under any form of professional journalism.

Where do you get your facts about me being a criminal, who has made a valid and factual case for that having any validity?

I believe your reference and dependence is on one whacko self absorbed cyber bully and vigilante in Garland Texas. She is not a credible source of any information. As I have stated prior in my opinion she is mentally challenged and short a good many marbles in her own smallish brain.

If that is your source of credible reference then you are just as deranged as she is.

Truth always overcomes ignorance and malice always is over powered by just means by Paladins that do not allow creatures such as you to dissuade them.

In truth it is you and your cronies that people believe are the ignorant and malicious folks that act with a total lack of decorum and professionalism.

Good day butt head. I'm so glad the world has so few people like you in it.

Don Holbrook ( a real Knight) not some wannabe jerk

DO YOU THINK MR, Smith HAS HIM BURNING UP ??????
