There seems to be some confusion about the bribery charges. Unfortunately, PACER did not fully go online until 1988, so the court documents aren't available online. You'd have to contact the Federal Court in Miami about any records.

However, Mr. Gorcyca does appear on PACER almost immediately.

And, the 'Yuri' guy in the photo is the president of GI2C. In fact, I believe Yuri is the one that provided this photo. I have no idea why the association between these two ended a year or so ago. It is interesting that GI2C did not really become a issue (post wise) until about a year or so ago. But, Mr. Gorcyca appears to be a rather vindictive type. Besides, you can not legally work in China if you have a felony conviction.

Very good point.
The 'Black and White' outlook is rather prevalent in the US. You see this a lot, especially in politics. Citizens in the US seem to have a hard time seeing, or better yet comprehending, the 'grey' areas.

The US political outlook reinforces this. Only ~27% of US citizens are registered with the 'Republican Party'. Only ~24% of US citizens are registered with the 'Democrat Party'.

So who elects the politicians in the US?

The 'moderates', 'independents' and such. Especially during a presidential election, it is, 'moderates' and 'independents' that decided the most electoral votes. Neither the 'Republicans' nor 'Democrats' have actually elected a 'US President' in decades.
