I've looked on the Woking BC website, because if this is the case, I'd like to see the agenda for the meetings at which it was decided, along with the relevant officer reports. Then the appropriate minutes. According to the local newspaper, the decision was supposed to be taken by the Executive Board in March 2017.

But try as I might, I can find NOTHING on Woking's website about this. You cannot go back far enough to see minutes of the Executive Board in March 2017. So did it actually go ahead? Is there a Woking resident out there who could confirm? Or is Woking BC hiding something?
It looks as if it was supposed to be considered, and that's why I'd like to see the officer reports. All very strange

The website is intermittently on and off, but was on last time I checked. The scheme has definitely gone ahead, but as soon as I started asking questions to the business team at Woking, they stopped answering my emails. The local paper is also refusing to discuss the issue at all, which is really frustrating. They have a massive story right on their door step and they stubbornly refuse to investigate. Bonkers. Absolutely bonkers

Well, according to the article in the Woking News and Mail, the Woking Councillor dealing with this was the "Business Liaison Portfolio Holder", one Cllr Saj Hussain.

Might be worth dropping him a line and see what he has to say about it?
