Someone in China planted a fake sham "announcement" in the China Daily which did not identify a single OFFICIAL source or quote a single government official claiming "China foreign teachers may see tighter requirements" See: Foreign teachers may see tighter requirements - China - Chinadaily.com.cn

It is now a month later and no Chinese government official will confirm they issued this "announcement" and SAFEA, the Chinese agency responsible for regulating the standards for foreign employees in China claim they know nothing about this announcement and there are no changes made to the existing requirements that can be found at the SAFEA web site http://safea.gov.cn or here in English at New China Foreign Teacher & Employee Requirements Now Strict - China Business Central - Open Salon

So where did the "mystery announcement" originate and by who? Someone spent a few bucks to deliberately miselad people - but why? Here is your answer:
