"Despite assurances to the contrary, USI-Tech continues to run foul of securities regulation in Canada.
The latest is a cease and desist issued by the Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority of Saskatchewan (FCAA).
In a January 26th press-release, the FCAA warns the public “do not invest with USI-Tech Limited”."

Im starting to see names who got boned bad from Traffic Monsoon back at it with USI Tech.
Johnny Greenwood, James Ian Marshall, etc.
This thread: some real large sums of $ down the drain. It is at selective pay right now but how long can that last?

This puts a real spin of the real damage these scammers have done:

Speaking of Jonathan Herpy Sr, as we were, it seems he's not above a bit of self promotion as well as being used to help promote fraudulent schemes

One wonders if a press release trumpeting his involvement with USI-Tech will be forthcoming any time in the near future.

You would have discovered that they weren't and that is all you really needed to know to not join. Not only do they need to be registered and licensed with the SEC in the US, but in every state in the US they are doing business with the states securities commissioner, thus why Texas issued their Cease and Desist Order.
And by the way, they still are not registered or licensed in any country where they do business.
I agree that people don't do their due diligence. BUT,
Fair to say that first people must identify that it is a security - before they go looking for registration? When people you trust such as family and friends or a crap attorney tell you it's a product and not an investment, people are going to believe them. So why would they look?
This is why, IMO, we should use the lowest common denominator to determine the scam factor.
We have got to cut through the confusion.
Case in point. Here's a guy arguing with Oz about another Ponzi Crypto World Evolution Review: $2000 Pro Miner Ponzi positions

Selling or leasing automated trading bots is not a Security Offering – regardless if the BOT actually worked and posted a positive P/L/ over time that would cover the initial cost of the BOT itself. Period.
As to the disclosures about the company owners etc – I see the validity of that concern however everyone needs to be responsible for how they choose to spend their money and or lose it.

So the banks that trade trillions in currency each day were swapped by the owners of USI Tech in exchange for a few hundred million raised from 700,000 investors on Facebook? Awful nice of em, believable too!

The founders of USI-Tech are Jao Severino and Ralf Gold.
Jao Severino (JOÃO FILIPE FERNANDES SEVERINO) has been barred from financial activity in Portugal because he was involved with another scam called AMC INVEST. AMC Invest offered 10% interest per month on investments and it ended up scamming hundreds of people before it was taken down by the authorities. People were arrested for this scam.
Ralf Gold has promoted many money making scams in the past as well:

Attorney Josh gave a good lead-in to this question with his latest video, the content is well worth 50 minutes. Still, I wouldn't engage him if I was a USI Tech victim unless he's willing to work on a contingency based on recovery.
This is a serious rebuttal of USI Techs lies, yet the video had almost as many dislikes as likes when I viewed it last night. I am left wondering why, and can only conclude some people don't want to hear the truth, or want to keep it from others. If somebody is going to pump money into something not registered with the SEC this is the exact type of analysis they need to have done. Either they can do it themselves or pay a qualified independent professional to perform it. Even it they call it BTC packs, proper due diligence need be exhausted first.

The above is probably too much effort or expense for most people. Keeping it as simple as possible, most people should only place money in things properly registered with the SEC and/or deal with licensed individuals. Ignoring What Is the Howey Test? - FindLaw for a moment, at the most base level if people are putting money in and expect to get more money out its an investment.
Affinity Fraud which many Ponzi schemes are by definition means the victims will be closely connected with the perpetrator(s). Today that very well may mean Facebook friends. If someone is approached by a person in their circle about an "opportunity" red flags should immediately start rippling in the wind. There are so few exemptions in the US where an investment doesn't have to be registered they are hardly worth the average person considering. In fact I would say if someone is presented an "opportunity" and they don't know the exclusion off the top of their head, they probably aren't qualified to make that investment.
Even in something legitimate like the stock market there are a ton of charlatans peddling woo. People jump in on hot tips and bull markets, they bail when things tank. Professionals on the whole offer worse returns than unmanaged indexes. As soon as most people deviate from this truth they cost themselves money. If someone wants to take a flyer they're better off doing it on their own, or with an amount of capital they can afford to lose. I won't belabor those points. This is one of my favorite books on the subject, and no this isn't a referral link. https://www.amazon.com/Random-Walk-d...G6VWYF92BND8FY

Re: USI-tech claims its' sale of unregistered securities in US "legal"
It is real simple. The reason why there are so many dislikes is because the major pimps of this told their downline to dislike it. They have to try and make it appear that this is fake news. You are not supposed to listen to haters or people who do not get it like you do. You are only to listen to the leaders. SOP for every Ponzi. And the cult of USI is alive and well.
